  Guess it's been a while since I banged out an entry. Not much has happened. I went to Mississippi a couple weeks ago to spend my birthday with my parents since it would have otherwise gone unnoticed by everyone around me here in TX. Man does life ever fly by. When I was a kid it seemed endless.
  
  In other news I got rid of my old RX-7 and the Honda Accord and picked up another RX-7. It's a 94 model so it's a good six years newer than my previous one. This is the first FD I've ever owned. After having at least a dozen FCs I finally got the upgrade of my dreams. LOL I'll have to get some pics up. Unfortunately since I'm neither made of money nor have excellent credit I had to pick up someone's junker. It's actually a pretty unfortunate tale when I learned my vehicles history.
  
  
  
  
   A guy in California built it up quite nicely then fell on hard times and sold it to some kid who promptly wrecked it a week after purchasing it. It went to a California auction and because the care was spotted by an enthusiast it ended up getting posted on a rather large RX-7 forum where it came to the attention of an auto broker here in Texas.
  
  
  
  He won the auction and had it trucked over here where he made some repairs to get it rolling again and then it sat for a year in the yard behind his place amongst a bunch of other heaps. This is where I got my hands on it.
  
  
  
  It is in dire need of some body work, fresh rubber, A/C and some time on an alignment rack. I have some fears it may also need a bit of a frame pull since the driver's door catches a bit. I had to replace some missing interior bits and put in a stereo but other than that I haven't had time or cash to do much. A/C should be going in soon since it's crazy hot lately. The rest...well, time will tell. Despite her haggard exterior I'm loving being a FD owner so far. Once I get her into better shape I'll be sure to post some new pics!
  
  Other than that not much new....been spending a lot of time working on my site. I haven't done too much reading and now that I'm paying for the car and repairs what little play money I had before is pretty much nonexistent. But life is trudging along...I hope everyone else is well and continuing to do their thing!
