  • Blah Blah Day coming soon...

    Saturday, Feb 14, 2009 6:42AM / Standard Entry / Members only

Well, I guess tomorrow is the dreaded V-Day...the first one I've spent alone in...I can't remember how long. 10+ years I guess. I'm alternating between viewing girls as pure evil and finding ones I may not have looked twice at semi-attractive. lol Anyway, it is here and it's too late to hope for a miracle. Haha. But I'm a dreamer.

I finally made it to get my haircut today. It was much needed and long overdue for a good chopping. I ended up with a new girl but for once she was attractive and able to keep a quiet guy engaged in conversation for most of the duration of the cut. She kept cutting away and I was getting kinda nervous but she did a good job. So even though I have no one to impress tomorrow at least I feel better!

Afterward I stopped by work and started straightening items on the shelf and helping customers which proves I both have no life and suffer from OCD. My co-worker told me a "hot" girl stopped in earlier looking for me and when he told her I wasn't there she said she'd come back when I was. Apparently he remembered me helping her the day before and went on to describe what she looked like and what she was wearing. Maybe yesterday was a blur but I find it funny that I don't recall helping any girls much less one that left such an impression that he was able to describe her in such detail. I figured either he's totally jerking me around or we simply have totally different tastes and I didn't even notice her. Anyway, the question remains...why did she come looking for me?

    Could be...

1- I gave her horrible customer service and she's back to shoot me in the face.

2- Perhaps I looked at her car and she is under the mistaken impression I'll remember her and she won't have to bother explaining her issue to a stranger again if she deals with me.

3- She's a beautician and noted my hair was looking shitty and wanted to stop by and drop off her card.

4- She digs funny-looking red-headed guys and was back to ask for my hand in holy matrimony.

5- She witnessed my awesome skills at work while putting up window signs and wanted to offer me a job re-wallpapering her bathroom.

6- I can go on with this all day...

The mystery may never be solved but I assure you, even if it's a dull outcome I will update the all of maybe two people that reads my rambles.

In other news, my package from Alivenotdead arrived in the mail today. I was convinced it was lost forever. They are usually quicker at shipping to me. I've been at war with the new post-lady because my car blocks the mailbox and she simply bypasses it and moves on to the next one. Our old dude came by at around 3PM leaving me ample time to either leave the house for work or get up and move my car before he passes. This new lady comes in the morning often before I'm even awake. Well she had to get her lazy ass out of the truck and knock on the door this morning. I had ordered the Hardpack CD and t-shirt along with FBI's CD. They also threw in Jin's mixtape CD, stickers, and wrist-bands.  I was kinda bummed when I opened the package and the Hardpack CD didn't have any liner notes. The jewel case was cracked which is no big deal but I found it strange that the CD wasn't shrink-wrapped and had no cover. I mean, it's digital media...what's the point of shelling out money for a CD if it doesn't have the artwork that sets it aside from a download? Not a huge complaint I guess but it was a letdown for me. =(
