It seems that you become what you face everyday. Some people live in the world of tv, like my mum. But u gotta give credit that she's much more knowledgable than me through her Nat Geo and Animal Planet watchings. But I feel she's too fiction and dreamy in her world right now with all those korean dramas...
Some lives in the world of parties and behaves like how alcohol moves, swirling and splashing on the floor when it gets too much. Some lives in music and has a song in their head for every episode of their lives. For me, I face the pc monitor most of my life. And I feel myself getting more and more stiff and expressionless. And no life. Hey look, I found a playmate for my best friend!

I'm going to HK again next week~ Too bad no clubbing this time round cos I'll be going with mum. But it's ok, will have a great time shopping!

I was surprised when some friends tell me they actually envy me and my life now. They don't even know what the hell is going on with my life and they just assume from the surface... God knows how much I wanted their lives than mine!!! I guess no one is easily satisfied~
The rich wants to experience being poor, the poor wants to be rich. The guys want to be girls, the girls want to be guys. The singles want to get married, the married ones want to be single again. The young wants to be old, the old wants to be young. Women without babies want babies, women with babies wish they din't have babies yet. You know, the list just goes on~
In some ways, I find I'm like the Joker in the Dark Knight, I cannot be serious in life and don't think it's fun if everything in life goes as planned. I like surprises, I like twists in life and I get bored easily, esp with things that remain the same for too long. Of cos, I'm not a psycho and destroying cities is not my favourite pasttime haha
And yeah, I had watched the Dark Knight on the first day it was launched and love it alot~ I esp love the Joker character alot and his lips licking habit, totally natural (god knows how much make-up he had consumed during the whole show) and he looked so at home with the nurse uniform!
So, I'm not someone who go and read all about the actors and actress acting in a show so throughout the show, I was wondering who the Joker was. It also took me awhile to realise that the white knight was actually the guy who acted in Thank You for Smoking (very funny show). When I found out the Joker was Heath Ledger I was quite shocked (please forgive my slowness). At least he had something to be proud of before he passed away, one last great performance. Two thumbs up for him!
And I was equally shocked that the 'Lau' in the show is a Singapore actor (no wonder he looked familiar). He did a good job at being a character whom is much despised. All in all, the show was wonderful and I hope one day I can know someone as dashing and powerfully rich like Bruce Wayne hahaha~
Oh one last thing, for guys who think that it's in their genes that they can't slim down or build muscles on their body, think again after watching The Machinist (starring the freakily skinny Christian Bale, which he lost alot of weight for the show before transforming back to the muscular Batman). I think he should set up a slimming centre instead~

It feels good to be back home~ Especially since the summer in China is unbearable!!! It's almost 40 degrees there now, Singapore is hot all year round but not as hot as that!!! It's sad cos I'll be back in China next week :(
It's sad cos there will be Singfest 2008 in August!!! I'm biting my lips in anger cos there are some great bands playing this year like Panic at the Disco, One Republic, Lost Prophets, Crowned King~ And sexy Pussycat Dolls be there too! Been busy meeting up with good friends and relatives lately, missed them lots! It's good to know that I've been missed too hahaha~ Wanted to post pictures here but then I'm using Safari so oh well... next time maybe.
