  • Day One.

    Saturday, Aug 22, 2009 4:55PM / Members only

Hellooooooo! It's been so long since I last updated my blog. And yes, been trying to enjoy the last week of before the commerce of the fasting month. Gotta admit that I have been going out every single day ever since last Saturday Khai's farewell barbecue pit. It was an awesome week shall I say. Enjoyed every moment of it. :D The reason to why I've been going out every single day is because I know I won't be going out much during the fasting month but not at least I have two plans already during the fasting month. Fast yeah? Hahahaha! Oh well. :)

Today is the first day of the fasting month. And honestly, I'm excited somehow. Maybe it's a good time that I can also diet at the same time. Awesome! Anyway, happy fasting to all muslims out there. :D

  • The Puzzle.

He just lay still, not moving a muscle.

For every muscle moved, causes more pain.

He didn't expect nor does he wants this to happen.

He can't turn back time either.

A decision he made that was dumb and could have been avoided.

He wouldn't have stepped on the platform if he knows it's gonna crumble in the end.

All he thought was that the platform was the only thing that could make him achieve his goals,

But the management didn't tell him anything till the moment came.

By the time he got to know about it, that's when he fell, slammed hard to the ground.

Flashbacks came running in his views just like a movie of his own life.

Now the puzzle seems to be completed as all the pieces are in it's place.

His crew stood by him for what had happened.

For that he puts his trust on them to look after his loved ones.

  • Majorities Were Minors.

    Saturday, Jul 25, 2009 12:21AM / Members only

Hello world! It's been more than a week since I last update my blog yeah. Alright, lets blog about this past week. The week wasn't that bad at all. It seems like I have been going out till late lately and wasn't really at home. Been crashing at cousin's place. Oh well.

So last Thursday went to meet the Patricks. We went to celebrate Zafirah's and Atiqah's birhtday. And the good thing was that Aisha was able to get hold of her brother's car. So it was like we kinda drove around Singapore. Haha! From Tampines to Tanah Merah cum Bedok, to Kembangan back to Tampines again, and we headed to Simei and had dinner at Bugis. After dinner we drove again to Changi to watch planes take off / landing. And headed back to Town and finally home sweet home. It was fun and awesome! Drive again soon yeah. Haha.

On Saturday, I went to meet Haris, Saw and Siti. Well, it was to meet up with Haris cause he just got enlisted into NS a week ago. So we were chilling and Haris was like telling us about his NS life and when he suddenly said he misses eating McDonalds' breakfast. Same goes for Saw too. So they, I mean us, decided to just stay till morning. And at 2, all of them started to get restless and Haris suggested that we just chilled at his place and so we did. While at his house, Saw fell asleep and oh well, what can I say, we took photos of him sleeping and making stupid faces. Haha! So did we had Mc breakfast? Yes we did, at 5am at Haris place. Hahaha! And by 6am, we decided to set off home. Cause the longer we stay, the more we would get lazy to get home. Haha!

That's the two major events that happened last week. The rest were minor ones like chilling and stuff. And now, I mean right now, I can't log into Facebook. -.- This was the notification:

Looks I have to try again later then yeah. Haha!

  • Karma. Word.

    Tuesday, Jul 14, 2009 3:13AM / Members only

    Do you believe in karma?

    I do.

    I'm not sure if it's a belief or isn't.

But it's kinda true isn't it?

You do good deeds, good things will happen to you in return.

Whereas doing the bad deeds, retribution will happen.

But the best thing that will always keep you in suspense,

Is that you will never know when it could happen.

It could be right around the corner.

The moment you turn around, karma could just hit you from the back,

Making you unable to see it coming at all.

But if you keep on experiencing something bad,

Just keep your head up high cause it could be a blessing in disguise.

And everything happens for a reason.

Only that we might or might not find out what the reasons are.

  • Routes.

    Monday, Jul 13, 2009 2:20AM / Members only

The journey of your life has been decided by god.

But still, there are different routes to choose from during the journey.

All with different kinds of possibilities.

Good ones, and bad ones too.

You might go for the longer route,

Where you meet people and they'll leave.

But few years later, they could be back in your life.

And there are reasons to why you choose that certain route.

The routes which could shape you into a better person or turning you to the worst.

Every route you choose, you'll always hope for the best.

Still, there are ups and downs.

But when you realized you chose a wrong route,

A new route will be there for you to choose.

Don't ever be too happy when your journey has been good so far,

Cause you might never know that route could be a dead end.

But just have fun throughout the whole journey till you reach the end.

How long is this service for? Is it like our National Guard where it's one weekend a month or is it like regular military where you live there 24/7?
Yes so far I have been blessed and people that run a few festivals that I love are helping me with what I need to do to make this work ;0) I have a name, date, the place is tentative but should be good and now I have to work on sponsors and 3 days filled with music on 2 or 3 stages and the afterparty LOL but I do not plan for it to be until next June so at least I gave myself alot of time ;0)

Does everyone have to do National Service? What does it entail? We do not have that here...It is the first event I have ever tried to organize aside from one other benefit. I actually am working on my degree and will be in school for about 3 more years...so this summer I have to complete my thesis and take a huge exam. The festival is a music benefit to raise funds and awareness for MS and RA. Neither have a known cause (at this point there are some "ideas" of cause), neither have treatments that are guaranteed to work and there is no known cure. Since there is not alot of money for research in the areas tho and everyone loves music I thought a festival would be a great way to raise money and awareness. I will say tho since I have RA and the treatments of chemo suck I am also trying to fund research to help myself as well...ah well it should be a great time. I just have to make it all happen ;0)

lol yea it's far from my only hobby tho lol there is soooooo much more ;0) The book bank has all types of books in every genre...they even had text books which I thought was odd but it is near yale so I guess it makes sense. I am planning for my festival tho so it seems I will have less reading time for a bit...we spend to many hours and made little headway it feels. Ah well it's my first one so I can't expect perfection. So what else do you do?

lol yea I have 1 room with all books waist to ceiling already...and then piles everywhere in my room with 2 bookshelves...hmmm I'm a bit of a geek ah well ;0) But if there are any books you want specifically or area wise I can look at the book bank for you while I am there

I finished the "WTF" book and I was so disappointed the more I read it the more it was geared toward males-ah well I should write a non-gender biased version LOL. Did you read the "Worst Case Scenario Handbooks?" those are GREAT! Well I can just make a box and put all the books in and once it's full mail them to you it's a flat rate per box so I figure we might as well get full use of it ;0) I can't re-read books and some like these the places will not let me donate...I did find the COOLEST place EVER tho! Ok maybe not ever but still there is a book bank in New Haven that has free books used and new and you can get 5 free books per day ;0)

I Wicki'd it-sounds like a good book! I actually read a few books similar to this a few years back...if I can find them I will let you know-sorry I have alot of books and poor organization since there is little space for them...I may have passed them along too since I tend to give books away once I have read them-I will try to find them tho they were similar and very cool ;0) The Freakonomics book was funny b/c the author actually took random and serious life events and calculated the probability of them happening again or to specific people...it was just interesting yet humorous to know the probability of eating or drinking coffee at x place on y day lol ok I have a strange sense of humor at times...
