Slept for 5-6 hours and was dragged out of bed to go see the doctor who was obviously sick of her job. 

I planned to go straight back to bed but how can I miss the swimming events?!!!  I've taken a liking in watching swimming events.  It's a sweet reminder of the old days when I used to watch my friends swim and race in the same stadium - and to be secretly really proud of them.  There's a certain magic in them when they glide through that body of water, something I can never do: it's like... elegance versus a drowning dog.
