I was originally going to wait until we had the film released before I started it; but today, I have started writing a treatment for
Traumatic Possession 2. Essentially, from the notes that I am writing, it takes place about six months after the first film. I want this one to be about being at the wrong place at the wrong time. This one is going to be more of a slasher film in the vein of like
Friday the 13th, A Nightmare on Elm Street, etc; but all from the point of view of the camera.
The point of view from the camera is the theme of the film. I feel that if we break away from that, it would not be as good as the first film. To prove my point, The Blair Witch Project; the sequel pretty much dropped the point of view from the camera and it was not as good as the first.
With all the excitement of getting distribution for India, I think doing a sequel now will be worth while for us doing a sequel. We can possibly release the films together as a double feature here in the U.S.
