あけおめ!
新年快楽!
Happy new year!
First of all, I wish everyone a wonderful 2010. Please don't ask me how I celebrated New Years, cause I didn't. Really. I helped out in one of our F&B outlet in the resort. (Oh, yea, I am officially in Phuket.)
Met a lot of pretty cool people here and so far so good~ I'm planning to rent a scooter this coming Tuesday/Wednesday and roam around the island. Pray for my safety...or more like for others' (hehehe...).
Just one more quick side note before I forget to mention...when people say its spicy in Phuket, ITS SPICY! Do really take their word for it. Phuket's food is a loooooooot more (as in 1000x) spicier than Indian or Sichuan food (by far from experience). My co-workers had a bash watching me run around looking for water~ And that was pretty embarassing.
Okay, back to new years. What is my new years resolution? Find me a genie who can grant me wishes. This, or save money so I can grant my own wishes. I have a lot of trips overseas planned this year because I have 2 days off again. In the my previous travels (i.e. Qatar, Maldives...) people only had 1 day off. Thanks Allah!
Let's see. If everything goes as planned, this is how my travel itinerary should look like for 2010:
jan - bangkok for a day or two
mar - hk and taiwan for Linda's wedding
apr/may - singapore or brunei?
sept/oct - shanghai
oct/nov - japan and korea
dec/jan - US
we'll see!
p.s. this is a picture of Paula Abdul at the resort on New Years...
She's TINY! I feel like a giant...
