Where should I start? Hmmm! I am currently a Masters Student at Pacific Oaks College studying Human Development and hopefully I will be teaching at the college level by the end of 2009. I took a Drama class a couple of years ago and each group was assigned a different period but I was in the "other" category so I choose to do the traditional Japanese theater which is Kabuki. The students in my group were much younger than I was and they were not comfortable talking in front of an audience so I volunteered to be the speaker. I enjoy doing research and enjoy asian cultures so it was the perfect job for me to do since creativity is not part of what I do best. My ability to captivate an audience with my presentation and to see all those people becoming interested in a subject they knew nothing about gave me the most amazing high I have ever felt in my life. At that moment I realized that teaching college students was exactly what I wanted to do with my life. I guess you could say that I like the sound of my own voice. LOL!!! I also want to be a Child Advocate to fight for those children who can't fight for themselves. I am passionate about child advocacy and I do love a good fight when I know I am right. I am just a simple girl who wants to make life better for our children in a world full of chaos. I am not always right and when this happens, I admit my faults and apologize to those who I have offended. Well, that is just a little bit of who I am but there is much more to me than that and maybe you will get to know me through my blogs or just plain asking me a question.
