Hello Everyone,
Well, I did get to see “Finishing The Game” before it premiered on Friday and I saw it three times on Wednesday and it just kept on getting better. Here is part of the message I sent Sung when I wrote him on Wednesday about what I thought of “FTG”.
There was all this anticipation leading up to watching this movie and I was unsure about what I thought of the movie the first time I saw it. It was like when you are dating someone and there is all this foreplay happening and then when it gets to the main event it lasts only a couple of minutes and it is over. Yep! It was exactly like that. I am a firm believer that the fantasy is better than the reality and on most occasions, the fantasy is more fulfilling. However, since I am a really big fan of your work I decided to watch it again. Well the second time around always does the job for me and I must say after I allowed myself to just watch the movie it was better than I thought. There were some parts that I absolutely loved and I laughed so hard I could not catch my breath. The “fuckability” factor in what the audience wants to see on the big screen was absolutely hilarious and unfortunately true in most cases. The part where you and Roger are fighting or was it dancing is just great and I loved those tube socks you wore. LOL! It was so classic when you said, “You Stupid Face” to your ex (in the movie), it was just hilarious. The scenes where you are angry are so great and you do look quite hot doing it. Wow! That is kind of twisted. Your dialog piece was amazing and the hurt in your eyes and the sound of your voice just made the scene complete. You know I have never seen you smile so much and you look great doing it so you should try it more often when you get the chance. Okay, so I just watched it again and it just keeps getting better. Yep that is three times in one day but I went through so much just to watch this movie so I am getting my money’s worth. LOL!!! I am not sure if I got the message this movie intended me to get but I really did enjoy watching it and I sure hope I did not offend you in this letter because that was not my intention. Good Luck to you and the “FTG” family.
I am so bummed that I was unable to see it on the big screen but it was well worth the wait. Roger also did a fabulous job and so did everyone else in the movie. I recommend that everyone see this movie if you get the chance. Will I see it again? Of course, I will see it again as many times as I can because it is just a great movie. I just cannot get Sung’s voice out of my head when he said “You Stupid Face” I am just laughing
thinking about it. WOW! What is there to do now that “Finishing The Game” has had its premiere? What will I promote now any suggestions anyone?
Sincerely,
~Marilyn~

Annapolis
Hello Everyone,
Okay, I am taking a break from doing my homework to write this blog but I needed to give my brain a break.
So I watched Annapolis last night and it was a great movie. Of course I had seen this movie listed many times but I never really took the time to see it. Since, I have become a fan of Roger Fan
I thought I would see it because I do enjoy watching movies with good-looking men
so if the movie sucks at least I got something out of watching a 104 minute movie. LOL!!! He was just so serious (his character that is) in this movie and kind of a butthead but became more likable towards the end of the movie. He did a great job on this movie and I can’t wait to see more of his movies in the future. Justin Lin did a fabulous job directing this movie so Kudos to the both of you. I do recommend that everyone see this movie because it is a good way to spend 104 minutes of your life that will not be a waste of time. Well my break is over so I better get back to homework. Boy my Saturday nights have changed so much usually I would be getting dressed for a night on the town but I guess I am a grown-up now. BUMMER!!! Well at least I am tonight.
Sincerely,
~Marilyn~

Hello Everyone,
Well I did not go to work today because my doctor order me to take a 24hr urine test because it seems my Kidneys are not doing as well as we hoped. I have Lupus and it did the most damage to my Kidneys but I have been in remission for about 10 years but it seems that all the worrying about my family might have just had it toll on my body. Since I was home today I thought I would watch “Better Luck Tomorrow” again before I send it back to Netflix. I did not get to see the last two scenes of the movie because it was dirty or something was just wrong with the movie so I decided to clean it and give it one more chance. It did not work and I still missed seeing the last two scenes so I guess now I will have to buy the DVD so I can see how the movie ends. It was a great movie from what I saw and I do not know how I managed to miss it when it first came out. If I had seen it I would have become a fan of Sung
much earlier but I have only discovered him this past summer after my students urged me to see this great movie with these great racing scenes were the words they spoke to me all last year. One night I finally had a break from doing homework so I decided to watch a little TV and the movie “The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift” was just about to start so took my student’s advice and watched the movie. It turned out to be a great movie and I watched it the whole summer because every time I turned on the TV it seemed to be playing. I have satellite so when I say it was on all the time I really do mean it. Well that is when I became a fan of Sung Kang and now I can’t wait to see his new movie “Finishing the Game”. He just makes me laugh and I have no idea how he got Ben Gay in his belly button but that is just why he makes me laugh.
I guess that is it for now.
Sincerely,
~Marilyn~
