Le Louvre - Paris, France

17 pictures / 280 views / 5 commentsTouring Le Louvre in Paris, France. I happened to be there the first Sunday of the month, which is always free, woohoo!! It was beautiful, and even spending 4-5 hours there wasn't enough. I was STILL running around. I tried to put only a few of the pictures, because I took TONS. The Mona Lisa you can't get too close too, though was cool. I loved that there were tons of my favorite painter's works, Jacques Louis David!!

Notre Dame - Paris, France
Sunday, Jul 27, 2008 11:14AM / Standard Album / Members only
37 pictures / 312 views / 5 commentsThis was beautiful, and the workmanship of the building is incredible. There are so many details, even in the little things, that you'd needs days with a magnifying glass to see it all. Cameras were not allowed flash inside, so they're not the best pictures of that. Also, I was saddened by a feeling there was of lonliness and emptiness inside the building, even amidst all the tourists.

Paris, France - Outreach 2008
Sunday, Jul 27, 2008 10:19AM / Standard Album / Members only
76 pictures / 468 views / 6 commentsI participated in a Christian outreach in Paris, France to share God's love in Jesus Christ. With people from all over the world, we did a variety of events and activities. Such as: theater, dance, mime, concerts, questionnaires, praying for people, and anything else that opened up. It was a wonderful time and I saw God do miracles big and small. From small such as providing for people to big as seeing someone be healed in Jesus' name of having one leg shorter than the other!! God is amazing!. Benit soit ton nom de Seigneur!

Artistic Photography - Train ride from CA to family up in Oregon
Friday, Oct 26, 2007 1:18PM / Artwork / Members only
8 pictures / 649 views / 5 commentsThis album has some of my favorite shots. It was during Christmas time. I decided to take a leisure train ride by myself for much needed rest and down time up to Oregon to visit the family. Plus, I think there's some poignant moments, for I'd kinda already sensed that this would be the last christmas with my Grandma. She's in the bridge/walkway pic with my mom, I love that shot. She did end up passing in Feb, so mini-tribute to her.

Photography - South Africa
Thursday, Oct 25, 2007 2:32PM / Artwork / Members only
21 pictures / 1021 views / 3 commentsThis is some of my artistic shots from my trip to South Africa this summer. I was near Mossel Bay, which is the very south tip. So, we were at the beach and it was VERY similar to Southern California. I felt very at home and miss all of it, and my peeps :(
Couple shots are with a local Christian dance group called the Ubuntu Dancers. They're formed of girls in a local township as a way to help positively influence them through dance and loving them. These girls were so much fun and absolutely adorable, I wish I coulda spend more time with them. You showed 'em a little love, that they are special and valuable, and they blossomed before your eyes. It was beautiful to see!

Amateur artwork
Thursday, Oct 25, 2007 1:52PM / Artwork / Members only
5 pictures / 567 views / 3 commentsI'm an amateur artist in drawing. I've taught myself and definitely have a lot to learn. Unfortunately I don't own a working scanner anymore, so I just took a shot with my digital camera. Sorry they're pretty poor quality images, but I'm not looking to make a living by this anyways :)
