  half a year?!  wow, that's pretty long.
  but at least, u get to spend time away from the t-dot.  i've been wanting to do that for a long time.  my 5 weeks in hong kong was not enough for me.

  yeah, of course, i know of sichuan.  they had that unfortunate earthquake last year.  do you speak any cantonese?

  oh yeah?  whereabouts in china?  i've actually never been there before (excluding hong kong).  and my mandarin isn't quite up to par.  i can still speak enough to make native speakers assume i am very fluent though.  but that depends if i can understand that person's accent.
