Hmm so where to start, well first of all Ion't really remember much about my summer. Few relatives came to visit, as well as friends. But there are some memorable moments.
My trip to Sacramento for KUG (Khmer Unity Games) was a blast, but the games.....bleh =P. KUG is a tradition in which different Cambodian student organizations from various colleges get together for a day during the summer and basically have fun. Think of it has a picnic day with a bunch of Cambodians playing park games. K, Ima shut up and just show you pictures...
Afterwhile, we decided to take a lil break and eat some lunch.

It was shady ok!

Vuthy showing Sota a magic trick or something iono haha

Disa's forshadowing her tan line Hahhaahahha (inside joke)

Ok so the trip started out fine...until my tired blew up!
I checked for the spare, and that mug was flat too! Keep in mind, this was my momma's car so I had no idea. We were about 1hour from out destination. Luckily, my friend, Disa, had a triple A card. But...the card only had 7 miles on it bwahahaha in my face son! Again, I had luck on my side, the closest tire shop was only 9 miles away. So, I for the car towed to the shop and ended up having to pay about $170 for two new tires.

So we just sat around for almost an hour waiting for them to put on the tires.
Here's the homie, Vuthy.

Fina here being weird like usual

Here's Sota taking her myspace picture

And here's Disa taking a dump xD

*sigh* Asians and piece signs haah

So, here we are back on the road

About an hour later or so, we finally made it to my friends' house in Sac. We was hella tired from the trip. Just ate some KFC and knocked out right after.
The aftermath next morning

After we all cleaned up (especially me hehe) we went to eat some breakfast before heading to the park for KUG. But all the hometown restaurants was still closed so we just went to Carl's Jr haha whack.

Fina's a loser haha

So we got to the park and met all the other Khmer students.

I was disappointed in the games this year tho. They were confusing and not that fun. I think I participated in only one game. The rest of the day, I was either resting, going to 7-11 for free slurpees, or kicking birdies haha.
Khon and Vuthy kicking birdie right here

So after a half day of non-fun games, I went back to the house nap while the others went to swim in the pool

Then we returned to the restaurant, that was closed in the morning, to eat dinner.

It's the cleanest Asian restaurant I've ever seen. Have you ever seen straight up white bean sprouts? I mean really white? No brown or yellow stains on it?

Oh yea here's Disa tryna cover up her tan line Hahahahahah

Here's Johnson and his girlfriend Marlene, who was nice enough to let me and my friends stay over for the weekend.

After having the cleanest meal in my life, we all headed out to Old Sac.

For some reason, there was a creepy ass clown inside a candy store which kids go into.

How Sota will look in the future

Well that was all. We didn't do anything exciting, but the trip alone was hella fun. Hopefully next year's KUG will be better.
Another memorable moment during the summer is of course the homie's wedding, Bory and Sandy. They been together for like 30 years or something. Well not 30, but ya know, somewhere around there. Just look at the pictures...

Here's Betty upfront. Daniel and Mary's behind her and Quesna the sleepy looking dude next to Betty haha

And that's just one side of the family

Yea....that was a good night =)
Hmmm so thats about it for the summer. Oh yea, On The Edge won Best Action Short of the Year at AOF.....
