TVB fantasy series "Legend of the Demigods" <搜神傳> will begin airing next week. A promotional event was held yesterday, attended by cast members including Sunny Chan, Linda Chung, Casper Chan, Kara Hui and Anderson Junior. After two and a half years, the series is finally to begin airing on 25 August.

This series was Linda's first female lead part when it was filmed over two years ago and she was extremely pleased that the long wait for the show to be released is finally over. The post-production special effects for this series are reported to have taken two years to complete and the budget for the computer animation has broken records for the amount of money spent on one show.
