About DOSE: Dose is an ascending talent in the NZ Drum&Bass scene. An active DJ and producer for the last 6 years, his cleverly crafted sets and original tracks are turning heads around the globe, from fellow performers, listeners and labels alike.

Dose’s tunes are being supported by the best in the business at home, with The Upbeats, Bulletproof, State of Mind, and Concord Dawn dropping his sounds into their sets. International heavyweights are also paying close attention, with the likes of Andy C, Pendulum, Ed Rush and Optical, Black Sun Empire and Klute (to name a few) playing Dose tracks, cementing his place as an emerging leader in NZ Drum&Bass production.

September 2006 saw Optiv, of Cause 4 Concern, sign Dose’s “Derailed”, and also request that Dose complete a 12-inch release for Red Light Records. A wave of interest followed, and since, Dose has secured releases on labels such as Revolution, Syndrome Audio, Cyanide, Citrus, Samurai Music, Full Force Music and notably, a 12-inch release on Klute’s “Commercial Suicide” imprint.

More recently, Andy C included Dose,Trei & Menace..s track “Valium Express” on Mixmag Mix CD, reaching an audience of more than 40,000 fans worldwide.

In 2007, Dose performed a five-date tour of Australia, gathering a passionate response from both new and seasoned fans. This year, Dose has already impressed audiences around NZ, touring with fellow DJ/Producer Trei, in celebration of their Samurai Music release NZ004

This August, our friends the Heavy Crew bring you the Shanghai massive with the Mc Didjelirium (Uprooted Sunshine) , Dj Drunk Monk (uprooted Sunshine) and Dj Ozone (antidote). Antidote and Uprooted Sunshine are the main indie promoters in Shanghai pushing the scene heavily with style.

About RIDO: aka Pavel Ridosko is a rapidly up and coming producer hailing from Prague.

He was initially drawn to electronic music after being exposed to the heavy beats of the popular UK outfit The Prodigy.
In 2004 he moved to Sydney to study sound engineering at SAE.
After he returned to Prague, he started to concentrate on making music full-time.

His first international release was on Intersection recordings with tunes Dark Thief and Density. His next release was called Anatomy and was featured on an EP from the German label, Shadybrain. After this he released a soulful tech slammer, featuring the vocals of Spikey Tee, called “Life is Strange,” for the Holland based Fokuz recordings.

However, when Kryptic Minds and Leon Switch listened to Rido’s “Strangers,” Rido’s career began to rapidly accelerate. The tune was signed without hesitation to Defcom Recordings and Rido joined the Defcom crew without looking back. His new tunes “Somber World” and New Hope are to be released on Defcom in the beginning of 2008.

There are couple forthcoming releases from Rido in 2008 one called Coincidence for legendary DSCI4 and colab single with Czech fellow producers Morebeat coming out on Citrus recordings, with tunes Hard as Life and colab with Morebeat called Project Icarus.

Rido’s uniquely deep and technical sound is influenced both by the futuristic aspects of contemporary dnb and by his passion for orchestral and film music.
His tunes are played by Djs such as Teebee, Noisia, Kryptic Minds,Nocturnal and many more.
