  • Little Big Planet (PS3)

    Saturday, Nov 1, 2008 2:43PM / Standard Entry

THIS IS IT! I CAN'T STOP THINKING HOW GOOD THIS GAME IS, RUNNING AROUND MY MIND SO I'M GONNA BLOG IT ONCE AND FOR ALL!

    PSN ID: K Clover 7

Little Big Planet on Playstation 3, official release date on 27th October 2008, got the game earlier than the release date. Bought it from g3 Funan, imported copy from the US for SGD $95.
Some other stores selling for lower price of SGD $92 but the copy is limited. This is the very first original release that was delayed later on because of some license issues.

This picture is taken on 21st October 2008 on my HDTV screen, imagine how way long I got this copy first!

Been really concentrating and had a lot of fun playing it since the first day I owned it. This platform game is so special, I can say is the next big thing. Gamespot rated as editor choice and with the high score of 9.0. 1up.com rated as A+. The downside of this game as reviewed by these gaming sites are, this game story is too short, the camera kinda stuck when playing multiplayer online and building a compelling level can be time-consuming. To me, those downside of the game reviews is TOTALLY NOT ACCURATE! This game story length is long and highly replayable even in 1 stage. The camera works just wonderfully, and building level just so unique and easy. I've even played few level created by the community such as MGS theme song level, FF 6 Terra's theme song level, Pac Man level and much more. Is so real, fun and exciting!

It really fun and looks good and even can look even better!

What's more, this is the game that make my girlfriend laugh because she stuck at the broken pieces of doll, we really can't figure out howto move the 'sackboy/sackgirl'. It just stays stucked. My gf said too bad we didn't take a picture of it and posted as a bug, man, my gf, really know howto find bugs in a game. LOL. I love you honey.
The conclusion, this is what I think about Little Big Planet, is the hotest game around, maybe the best platform game ever created, it's global, I even get to know some friends around the world, from US, from Japan, it even involved Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII,
Old Snake from Metal Gear Solid 4 and other character such as Kratos from God Of War, you name it, Mario, it got all. Even Hideo Kojima and Square Enix president Yochi Wada attended the event of Little Big Planet in Japan. Is fun, epic, exciting and what's more, is a game me and my gf played and we loving it. Little Big Planet, is my game and my gf in it.

Little Big Planet, I am going to conquest it and after that, I am going to dominate the world of Little Big Planet online!

of course, conquesting game is one thing, promises is promises, I won't break it, I SHALL conquest my promises!

YOU SHALL SEE AND FEEL THE NEW ME.
    I LOVE YOU!

  • I owned PS3 80gb, Metal Gear Solid 4 and a 32 inch HDTV Panasonic Viera

    Saturday, Oct 4, 2008 2:04PM / Standard Entry

Finally, I got my hands on 3 things I wanted the most for my gaming needs. A PS3, Metal Gear Solid 4 and a 32 inch (huge enough for gaming) HDTV Panasonic Viera. The feeling is epic. Metal Gear Solid 4 is the very first ps3 game I played on the system. Very epic gameplay and feeling. You just can't imagine how I would wake up in the morning and get my hands on it and before bed get on it again.
PS3 the ultimate entertainment system that supports BD (Blu-Ray Disc) that can hold up to 50 gb of data on each disc. The quality is I can only describe is as epic. To have the very optimal enjoyment of ps3, one needs to have at least a hdtv, the bigger the better, of course, ps3 can run on standard tv but the picture quality will not be as 'epic' as HDTV and I'm using HDMI cable, epic, purely epic!
Got 3 of them and lets roll!!

My PS3 and 32 inch HDMI Panasonic Viera, perfect!

Metal Gear Solid 4 looks so epic good on it. Epic feeling!

  • Jailbreaking firmware 2.1 on iPhone 3g/iPhone/iPod touch both 1st g and 2nd g guide

    Monday, Sep 15, 2008 4:50PM / Standard Entry

This guide is to walk you through on how to Jailbreak your iPhone 3g, iPhone, iPod touch 2g and 1st g firmware. PERSONALLY TESTED AND IT WORKS VERY WELL.

Start off, I'm on PC, not Mac, for Mac guide, wait till I get my Mac in the future :)

    1. Open iTunes 8, and update to
    iPhone firmware 2.1.
If you already have firmware 2.1, you may skip this step.

    2. After you're upgraded to firmware 2.1, uninstall iTunes 8.0, and install iTunes 7.7.* from the download link here: http://www.filehippo.com/download_itunes/

    3. Click -->Download QuickPWN iPhone 2.1 Jailbreak <--, or use any of these mirrors if this link doesn't work:
    Mirror 1, Mirror 2

    4. Run the QuickPWN-GUI.exe file and browse and select your iPhone 2.1 firmware.

    5. Follow the on-screen steps, choose Installer and Cydia.

    6. Once finished, your iPhone will reboot, but Installer and Cydia won't be visible.

    7. Download & Install DiskAid from here:
    http://www.digidna.net/downloads/download.php?product=DiskAid&version=1.5&sys=win

    8. Connect your iPhone via USB to your computer and launch the DiskAID program.

    9. When the DiskAid screen launches, you'll see a drop-down box on the bottom left that says "Media Folder. Click on it, and select "Root Folder" instead.

    10. You'll get a Root Partition message, just click ok.

    11. On the left side, scroll down and click the System folder. Now double-click the Library Folder. Scroll down and double-click the "PrivateFrameworks" folder.

    12. On the right side, scroll down and click on the MobileInstallation.framework folder.

    13. Select the MobileInstallation file, and click "Delete from Device".

    13. Download the new MobileInstallation patch from http://www.sendspace.com/file/pcrxy6

    14. In DiskAid, click "Copy File to Device", and select the MobileInstallation file you downloaded.

    15. After you've copied the MobileInstallation file, reboot your iPhone and you should see a jailbreaked iPhone 2.1 now! Enjoy.

    16. Very important step here, the final step, connect your usb cable to your device use DiskAid again and find the file
com.apple.mobile.installation.plist and delete it. The file is located at /private/var/mobile/Library/Caches/com.apple.mobile.installation.plist. Once you did that, unplug the cable and reboot the device. After reboot, you are able to see Cydia and Installer.

    Enjoy!

  • Digiskin iPhone 3g Kevu

    Tuesday, Sep 9, 2008 8:30AM / Standard Entry / Latest Crazes

I brought my iPhone 3g to Digiskin yesterday and applied a new skin to it. The back and the chrome part of the iPhone 3g were skin to protect it from scratches. Aside from protecting it, I customize it with my own portrait drawn by Reni Wong (Reni, if you see this you can tell how much I LOVE the portrait you drew for me, I had it on my iPod touch as the wallpaper, I had it on my Iphone 3g as the wallpaper and now I had it on my latest iPhone 3g as the skin!!)
At Digiskin (the place where I make the skin) you can actually choose from various of pattern and design for what you want or how you want it to be appear on the skin. Without any hesitation, the first thing in my mind is to use the portrait of me by Reni as my skin pattern. What's better than having your own portrait on your on iPhone and what's more, it's by a famous artist and I know someday this artist Reni Wong, is going to be something big in the future or very soon.
Applying Digiskin on iPhone 3g is not cheap, in fact, it's very expensive, 7 times the price of normal screen protector. At Digiskin however, they are very professional, they put full concentration when applying the skin on to it and the overall process takes about 1 1/2 hours because there were many steps to do just to apply one skin and on the chrome part. But I can say it again, though the price is expensive, nothing can compare with the drawing of Reni Wong.

    Digiskin = expensive
Kevu portrait by Reni Wong = priceless

Now, I got a flawless iPhone 3g with my own customization. Total ownage!!!

  • Silicon Case

    Sunday, Sep 7, 2008 6:12PM / Standard Entry

Almost everywhere I go, I see how people protect their gadgets, mobile devices with silicon case, some even with protecting plastic case. For me, I don't really like to use those thing (silicon case, protective case) on my gadgets and mobile device.
Take an example on PSP and the latest gadget iPhone 3g. Yes, people uses the silicon case or protective plastic case to protect the device from scratches, impact and drop. I don't use those thing on my device because I really like how the feel of the original design, whenever holding on it 'naked' with no protective case. The feeling is so awesome! Even there's scratch or anything, I call it as my 'Signature'. The history and lifeline created by my cause.

Well 2 simple phrase of my style

You don't use it, you lose it

Live life without fear, then you will live it fully
