Busy times ahead

A complete whirlwind of events and performances have lightened my doorway and filled my schedule since I arrived back from Europe.

My personal highlight for September - CLSA opening for the amazing Christina Aguilera. Choreographed by the inspirational William Forsythe from Australia, the girls and I danced in full feathered Burlesque costumes to great hits such as "Hey Big Spender" and "Far from Over" by Cher. I was lucky enough to have a little solo miming to the Marilyn Monroe classic "Diamonds are a Girls Best Friend" while working 2 giant feather fans. How fun! Great to see some familiar faces at the event after our routine was over and to finish off the fabulous night we watched in awe as Christina belted out all her greatest hits.

September finished off with knockout performances from Talent Avenue at a Volkswagon Launch. I find work so unbelievably delightful, especially when you have the opportunity to work with such talented and beautiful hearted people. The group I work with in Talent Avenue are by far the warmest bunch of dancers I have the pleasure of working with. I look forward to many more shows with this team. In fact I have another coming up this weekend in Beijing for an Audi Launch!

Starting rehearsals tomorrow for a Bollywood performance this Friday - better get my rest but let's hope it's not too long before I touch base again.

Summer Events

Wow it sure has been one busy summer!

The past 3 months have included many exciting shows including Dewitt in Wonderland Launch, British Chamber of Commerce Ball, Volkswagon Launch in Shanghai, Ogilvy Party and Mercedes Benz Launch. Seems like even with the state of the economy, car lovers are still having all the fun!

A highlight for me this month has been performing at the International Lion Dance Championship in Macau. Total of 10 beautiful girls shaking their pom poms cheering for the half time entertainment.

Will be performing at the StudioDanz Summer Showcase tomorrow night 24th August as a guest performer with my new dance group Talent Avenue. Choreographed and lead by the amazing Alexey Balash aka Acexey, Hong Kong's newest addition of talented dancers from Russia are sure to bring the house down!

Shanghai Bound

Off to Shanghai tomorrow - performing at the Shanghai Motor Show promoting the launch of a fabulous new Chevrolet model. Looking forward to a great show!

It has been a busy couple of weeks... Performed in an art catwalk show last week promoting Martiros's Venetian inspired artworks.

Had an amazing Friday session last week shooting a short contemporary dance film led by talented choreographer and visionary Sahar. Fellow dancers included Marsha and Jimmy. Filmed by Derrick Fong and cannot wait to release the footage of our hard work.
