Am I a stalker?

Today, I got to thinking about viewing members pages, and that's when I realized I may look like a stalker to some members. I'll tell you what I'm thinking, and you decide!

First, sometimes when people blog, and I leave them a message about the blog, they reply in the blog itself. Then, I'll get a message that there is a new comment for that person's blog. When I check the blog, most of the time, it is someone else leaving a comment. So finally when that person responds, I may have been to their page 15 times already. If people check who has visited their page a few times in one day, I seriously look like a stalker.

Now, alot of members will answer me in my guestbook, and so I am able to delete that blog from my subscrīption. No stalker behavīor required.

Then, some members, including myself, (I must get better about this) don't always reply to comments made in their blog, and so when the notices come that there is a comment in a blog that I have commented on, the constant page checking cycle goes on until I finally admit that noone is replying to me.

Also, sometimes when I read a blog, I know just what I want to say, and so I begin to leave a comment when I notice that the person who visited before me said exactly what I wanted to say, or once I type out my comment, I realize how stupid my comment is, and I erase it and leave feeling like a loser.

And finally, I get the notices that someone has been tagged in a picture, or added an album, or has changed their profile in some way. I ALWAYS look at these. Rottendoubt is tagged in a picture almost everday. He must think I'm psycho!

Ok, so now this brings me to the question: How can I avoid looking like a stalker, and still be able to see the reply, pictures, or new profile details?

Ohhhhh I never read this blog of urs before....it's a very interesting one.I have opened ur profile by seeing an updated feed on my page ab ur profile update.I thought to just give a look what u have updated here.
I also feel like that way as u have mentioned here in this blog....Stalker....hehehehe.
Btw I like this theme of ur profile.Sat also has the same one.I also wanted to put this one.But this is only for the flame members like u.I Also like ur this headshot,you got nice eyes Kelly .........ooops again I sound like a Stalker hehehehe

I much prefer the commenting back on that person's guestbook because for me, I don't usually go back to that person's blog to see if they left a message regarding my questions, etc. But I will revisit the blog if I have something else to comment on.

Hehe, I am also like you. I look at all the new updates for photos, albums, people tagged in photos and I go to look at those as well =p I was hoping maybe not everyone checks to see what visitors they had, I'm often worried of people thinking I'm psycho as well =p

But I think on the whole most people enjoy others visiting their site and commenting on their pics and blogs.

i kept wondering about this so i asked around. the popular response was to reply in your own box because readers like to view all comments/everything on the same page. you're right about looking like a stalker, but in my book, you can stop by a million times and you're always welcome!!! =D

i visit whoever pops up on my "recent visitors" list. i figure, if they're looking at mine, then i have the right to look at theirs right? plus, i don't examine WHEN they last visited. that would just take way to much of my time.

its so funny you mention this. I have been thinking the same thing. I have my Internet set to open up a new tab every time I click on something and sometimes I'll look up and I have 7 different peoples profiles "open" for hours!!! and I think OMG they must think I'm stalking them! Or I'll have them open 2 or 3 times! So far no one thinks I'm stalking them (at least I hope not) so I wouldn't worry about it.
