  • Beijing Part 1

    After about 20 hours of travel time(L.A. to Hong Kong, a few hours of waiting then about 3 more hours of flying), I finally arrived in Beijing! The weather is very nice here, sunny and warm.
    Got a chance to walk around for a couple of days.
    Here are some pics to share.

    There was a crowd waiting for Lee Hom at the airport. He has a concert on the next day.

    And of course, peking duck. Yum yum!

  • Time For Travel Again

    Yup, its time to do some traveling again!
    I'm flying in a few hours and will be heading to LAX soon.

    My first stop is Beijing.

    Very excited and hope its gonna be a cool trip.

  • RIP Les Paul

    Jazz guitarist Les Paul died on August 13 at the age of 94.

    He invented the solid body electric guitar and pioneered multi-tracking – whereby instruments in a band or orchestra are recorded through separate, independently adjustable channels – and overdubbing, in which additional sound or music can be added after the original recording is made. He will surely be missed!

  • New Logic Studio Announced!

    Just wanted to share this upgrade to an already cool product.
    Apple just announced the new Logic Studio, which comes with Logic Pro 9.

    There were quite a few rumors about Logic 9 but it was a pleasant surprise since nobody expected it to come around this time.(at least I didn't)


    Here's some more info on the product.

    Seems like a cool upgrade with some nice features added!

  • Playing For 阿B In Lake Tahoe

    I just came back from playing a show this past weekend for  阿B in Lake Tahoe.
    The weather was great over there, nice and cool.
    Here are some pics:

    They provided me with a nice Fender Strat and a Roland JC-120 Amp.

    Here's a shot with 阿B taken at the wrap-up party after the show.

    It was my first time working with him and it was such a pleasure. Very nice guy, great singer and voice.
    And man, how does he look so young and fit?
