It's been a bit since I've blogged I just really wanted to say thanks to the warm welcome on my return, I do promise at some point I will go into more detail about my whereabouts somehow and somwehere  but well yeah just, thanks :)

about the title I thought the old blow up bra had died many years ago but it's back with apparently quite a vengeance! I remember as a teen the one I saw was a brown model with two buttons to the side, used to wonder if it would stop someone from drowning, and at what point it would explode due to the material it used...I was young and misinformed. Did anyone as a kid do the chicken fillet thing? I remember padding a bra out using tissues...not a good look ... a little lobsided thanks to unmatching propotions of tissues.

instant Va Va Voom!.....I don't think the wonderbra has anything to worry about.

If you've yet to see the movie 'Is anybody there' I highly recommend it. Michael Caine plays an elderly man refusing to age and suffering from Dementia who is none to pleased about going into a nursing home, there he meets a young boy desperate to know about life after death. It is both heartwarming, sad, hilarious and genuinely beautifully acted.Well written british gem.

Most inaccurate quote of the week goes to : BNP leader Nick Griffin who states the Ku Klux Klan is a "mostly non-violent organisation". It really is scary how this racist thug is managing to win seats across England as we run up to the general elections.

Nicest place I visited this year : CHATSWORTH HOUSE , one of England's best stately homes, it's simply breathtaking and the library is unbelieveable. Parts of 'The Duchess' was filmed here, infact the truth of the lady herself is far more shocking than the film reveals, or so I've heard, I've yet to see it.

Apparently Jack the Ripper was according to new evidence the mortician's assistant....I'm unconvinced I prefer the Freemason theory, but then I've never exactly gotten on with those circles so I may be biased.

I love this....erotically beautiful....Dont' judge me, I am a Christian, I just find this piece called the 'Dark Embrace' very pleasing to the eye, perhaps it's the colour scheme and the wings shielding the girl from harm...maybe

I like the "Dark Embrace" image, the guy can't be all bad if he grabs a handful of arse.

It is actually a classy looking piece.

It's so great to have you back!  =)

The bra thing is hilarious!  I wonder who you call if you get a flat?

I saw The Dutchess and the special features on the DVD suggest she was pretty wild.

Dark Embrace....even weird winged evilness gets (wait for it....) horny!  bah-hahahahahhaaa!

I have to think back of a vid of Pink where she has a bra which blows up itself just by pulling a string @_@. I bymyself can call me lucky that I never had to stuff my bra with anything :)

Whatever floats your bra....I'm mean, boat! ^^

As for Mr Griffin, seriously didn't he know that Britain was made up of different cultures? First of all Britain's long past history began with the Phoenicians (believe it or not). The reason we have names like Phoebe and surnames like Barratt came from the fact that they are linked directly to the Phoenician goddess Barrattan, who is known (in our current times now) as Britannia. :) Then we have the Anglo-Saxons and the Vikings, and later on the Romans.....so Britain is a made from a various mix of European ancestry. So if he's being racist to his fellow men, he's only being ignorant and 'racist' to his common ancestors. :)

am surprised to see 'Dark Embrace' piece. isnt it Devil man, a manga/anime character from Japan?  its my favorite and has been collecting its figures. the movie, devilman was not good though. Once i asked my friend to get special one at Gesen, geme parler.

Will watch Is Any Out There on your recommendation. Rental! And Chatsworth House is gorgeous. Love the old mansions and chateaus you got out over on your side. China's ancient but there is hardly anything "pretty," architecturally or design-worthy, to swoon over! Don't know much about the Jack the Ripper theories. I suppose we have our own serial murderers to clue together.

Dark embrace is cool.  I dunno if I'd see it as being shielded as more being consumed...but then I like consuming and always talk about how darkness has consumed things in my life heh.

lol, it reminds me of the scene in Bend it Like Beckham where Jule's (Keira Knightly) is in the lingere shop and her mum is demonstrating a pump up bra.
Wouldn't one feel like such a fraud!?!

Chatswood house - beautiful, The Duchess is a great movie, I can recommend it.  Is that also where they filmed The Count of Monte Christo (the version with Guy Pearse as Ferninad (sp)).  Which is a terrific movie too.

Not sure I like Dark Embrace, not that I am a christian or anything.

I've not heard of those type of bras before, but the whole concept of having a button to press and the va va voom it suddenly gets bigger is quite hilarious :p  I remember the tissue padding days LOL.  And no, that doesn't look good at all b/c tissue holds no shape :p

I haven't seen Is Anybody There? yet but since Michael Caine is in it (I think he's brilliant) I want to watch it now :-)  Thanks for the recommendation.

Chatsworth House looks so lovely.  I'm curious how the inside looks like.  I shall google it up.

I also find the Dark Embrace very appealing, maybe it's because the girl seems to be shielded from harm but on the other hand she's shielded by Evil itself.
