Was you ever a fan, who was so infatuated, you'd buy anything and everything with that person in. If so who?...enquiring minds(as small as mine is) wants to know

I was terrible , I used to buy everything that had Van Damme, Arnie, and Stallone in.....(I liked muscles when I was a wee lass), kept 'em videos, shiny and dust free. Bought every magazine with them on the cover, poster and accessory going. Did the same with Ekin Cheng and Choi Min-soo too, although saying that, I have actually liked all of Min-soo's stuff, including the light...no no, correction, especially, his light porn movies. I don't do that any more...not the porn, I mean the collecting everything no matter what.!

Now if the lovely Cheng Yi-Kin does ever join, can you remind me to remove this blog, and just sign his page with ,'I have all your movies, love them all'...(I actually do like most..just the odd comedy I was iffy with)

PS. Do you think by forgetting my Bro-in-law's birthday, that i'll be even closer to my sister than we are already? I'll send him a card tomorrow, hopefully he'll get it before today

I like too many things and people to buy anything and everything associated with it but I know what you're talking about and if money weren't an issue, I'd would probably have a ton of Korean dramas and season tickets to the Yankee home games along with a ton of memorabilia.

So do you still have these collections or have they gone the way of eBay? I used to like Cheng Yi-Kin too but I like Maggie Siu even more so not such a fan these days.

i saw the VCD or was it a DVD in one of the shopping malls one day, but i ran out of cash...so i've been meaning to go back there bcuz that's the only place i've found The Returner...but it's kinda far, and petrol price is running high...let's just see when i'm free and i'm headed that way...

i think one other thing that i collect currently is good film VCD/DVD that has actors that i absolutely love...this is very strict, the film must be good, a worthy re-watching, and the cast must be really good too...currently trying to get Kaneshiro Takeshi's The Returner...

also buy everything magzine with him on the cover .

collection...hmm...lemme think...Korean singers that I was into, but while i was a big fan, things Korean were scarce here...i have all BSB albums, but i don't collect ALL their stuffs, that's crazy...i have...i don't know...but i used to buy magazines A LOT...i used to buy Smash Hits a lot, even though it was really expensive, until the exchange rate become crazier, then i stopped...then i changed to another magazine on Jpop published in HK with full colored pages until it stopped selling...and then i went for Taiwanese Entertainment Magz...finally i got stuck with a Taiwanese/Japanese Fashion Magz...now i'm buying less bcuz i wanna save money for petrol!

Me? No. I only have three boxes of Jet Li memorabilia, a binder full of newspaper and magazine clippings, posters hanging on my wall, and videos of his TV interviews. That's not being infatuated at all.

one handed typing here....the baby's teething. i'm this way about sung kang movies. i even liked his role in atwone fischer. he was hot in that sailor uniform. i don't own that dvd, buy i own almost all the others. he's so great....

I was a HUGE fan of Sam Lee (who's actually on this site). I first saw him on "Bio Zombies" and was instantly attracted to his style of acting. Then after, I bought every movie, magazine, CD that featured Mr. Lee - he's a talented actor!

I was also an avid fan of the Spice Girls. I collected their CDs, posters and stickers. =)

hmm... I had a long list of "must-buys" for DVDs and CDs... but now I've narrowed it down to Andy Lau, Grasshopper, and Louis Koo... the other ones, I'd buy if it was something really really good... ;) hehee... but otherwise I wouldn't buy it b/c it all adds up.. hahaa..

When I was younger I was fans of Leon Lai, Aaron Kwok & Vivian Chow. Did collect a few bits & pieces like posters, stickers heehee. Still got some at home. But nope not into muscle man at all (apart from Daniel Craig now of course haha he's not TOO musculy really).

Yay Ekin Cheng is gorgeous too. I used to love watching all his 'Young & Dangerous' movies. So cool!

I'm sure your BIL will be happy to receive the card from you...it's only a little late

no i haven't... 'cos my mom told me that it's unwise to idolize anyone... but i do idolize some people, and they're usually ancient people who have been dead for hundreds of years so the only thing i collect abt them are history books. =P

oo i try not to do those things.. id go to a store and look at the cover of the dvd or cd of the guy that im a super big fan of.. but i would never go all the way to buy his things.. cause id think that after a couple of years when ive stopped being a big fan, id go like 'jesus christ i was dumb for buying this ____ just because ___ is is in it.."
