Anyone remember Roger Fan blogging about Paul Potts on Britain's Got Talent, well although it brought a smile to my face it did not bring tears to my eyes. This however....

I love how she remains positive in the face of the audience's obvious cycnism and then WOW!

I saw this clip on a couple of entertainment shows on TV: "Extra" and "Access Hollywood." She is truly amazing...my aunt saw this, too, and hypothesized, "Can you imagine just what she could have done if she had been in the business sooner?" Mind blowing!

I know, Jaine. I was really touched by this kind. soul. Reminds me of a Bible verse that anyone could appreciate: "Man looks on the outside, but the Lord looks on the heart." Have a great weekend! I will be in grad school...don't feel like going :( Oh well, have to.

I was surprised too Jaine, and I knew a surprise was coming. You can just picture this woman in a pair of wellies out on the bogs doing whatever they do out there. She's a good sort, self-deprecating, and then knocks it out of the park. People really do seem to go there to mock the performers. I never saw that show or the American version or American Idol. Seems brutal from the clips I've seen. But it gave this woman a new career, I'm sure.

I think Simon was saying - ka-ching. He produces a few of the performers I read.

I got chills. Absolutely AMAZING and WOW! I also loved her positive attitude and the stunned looks on the judges' faces when she first started singing. Good for Susan!

amazing from the first note.

it's even more powerful with her appearance and the audience's initial reception. fantine may not have been as dowdy, but when she sings this song, she too is shunned and ragged looking. i'm glad the similarities end there and that susan has kept on dreaming.

She sounded pretty incredible with that song. Simon was hilarious w/ his intuition too. ;p Her 47 looks, mm, kinda 57'ish...which I suppose is perfectly acceptable in her part of the woods.
