Actually there are many Kiwi's in Korea but I am the only one in my town, infact K and I are the only westerners living here. I may buy a t-shirt that says, "No, I'm not American".
Things are settling down and K and I are freaking out less. It helps we now have internet and phone. It also helps I now have time to prepare for my lessons properly. I still get a little nervous every morning though.
Good news on the laptop front, Casskickass was right, the battery had completely drained. My universal adaptor arrived yesterday so we could finally plug it in. We have been watching Outrageous Fortune, a popular kiwi drama (I have 3 seasons on disc). Below is the season 3 promo - be warned though there is swearing and sex (oh my).
I had a bank account opened on Wednesday so I can now be paid my settlement allowance and pay back the teachers who have lent me money (I find it embarrassing having to borrow money from people I hardly know - it's bad enough borrowing from good friends, I don't like that much either).
Well its Friday - yay, hope you all have a great weekend, my girl and I will stay put, what are your plans?
