Tea with scones and cream...duh, I had that.  I don't think I've ever had a good scone though.  The one I had at a proper "tea" tasted....stale.

I think all cultures have stuff like scones which we call biscuits or unleveaned things like that (no yeast).  Girl, I love that knd of stuff but it goes right to my hips, damn.

Other than lamb which we get a lot of here, what else is a NZ export I should looks out for?

By the way, you ain't missing anything on that list that's "American".  That's listing some really trashy American stuff.

    lol, indeed :D

I went window shopping at Trafford Centre, very depressing!!, but I did bring myself home two  Bailey's Creme Brulee desserts from Selfridges at £2.95 each!!!, and it was lovely to spend time with friends.

How was your weekend? How's K doing?

oh that's a shame, it's strange how so many series are allowed fully on youtube, and yet movies get taken straight off, guess copyrights aren't as good for series.

yea I didn't know about the eating too much can cause nightmares... hahaa... it's true, I can't sleep when I'm over-stuffed... so I'm guessing I might be the opposite, most of the time I go to sleep hungry... hahaa... =D

Not yet, but I called the lady in HR and she said that things are moving slow, and that the position's not filled yet. So there's still hope, but I'm applying elsewhere too.

Jewish Beef Brisket is a cut of meat from the breast.  It's usually braised and simmered and in a Jewish Deli tastes so delicious on a hard roll.  More like beef than any beef you'll taste.   There are recipes on the net but I've never been able to make it at home the same way.  I don't know what this cut of beef is called in NZ.  It's the same cut used in Irish Corned Beef but before the brining process.  If you ever get to NYC you'll get the best brisket ever.  I don't have a Jewish Bubby like Sarah to make a delicious one, my loss.  I guess Sarah was joking about Obama's brisket-making skills but it implied that not only is he a great man and candidate....but he can also make a brisket that is beyond, to die for.  That's a fine standard as far as I'm concerned.
