How did I become a fan of Leslie? Let us just say that Leslie worked his magic on me. First it was Farewell My Concubine and the Passion Tour, and then it was everything else. I wrote a blog some months ago about being a post-fan here on Alive not Dead. I hope that explains more of it. I was also interviewed on the radio in November 2009 about being a Leslie fan.
