I haven't written for a quite long time... but now I will give you some wonderful pics of my stay in Israel last summer.

But first of all I want to wish you a happy new year (even though I'm a bit late) and also, a bit too early, a happy chinese new year :)

Ok, here are the wonderful pics of a wonderful stay in the wonderful country Israel :)

If you are in Israel, there are two town you will visit for sure... Here Tel Aviv...



do you already know waht is the second city? With the dome of the rocks and of course the western wall....?


Yeah, of course the second city is Jerusalem :)



As soon as you are there, you sholud visit Yad Vashem, the holocaust museum. You will never (!!) find such an impressing museum again!



it is also quite popular to go to Sde Boker and visit the grave of Israels first PM, David Ben-Gurion.



But also the surroundings are quite wonderful :) It is nearly in the middle of the desert.





Ovdat is also great for hiking :)


 
If you are more interested in history, you should visit Masada, an ancient city with interesting history!



And a great view again :)



The dead sea is also great :) It is an funny experience to lay down on the top of the water :)



Another great place was Ein Karem, near Jerusalem :)

Soo, now I'm here, in Israel. And it is great. The University is just... wow =)

But I have lots to do, so please don't be angry if I need some time to answer =)

I had to persuade my school to let me come back to school 3 days later^^.... And they all were shocked I go to Israel for such an long time on my ōwn =)

Was a bit bored a few minutes ago...
So I choose to make a Alivenotdead.com anniversary photo
Just darkened my room and wrote these words with light (a flashlight, to be exactly)... you just need a long exposure time

I'm sad I cant't come to the anniversary party. Would be so cool, especially cause it's on my birthday.... I have holiday there and everything would be perfect... except the fact I don't have 914€ (->10 380 HKD)....

just a short update
2 days ago I told you about the demonstartion against nuclear power.
What we have achieved with that: Germany will stop using nuclear power! The seven oldest nuclear power plants are retired from the grid now, the others will follow till 2022.
That's a good beginning, but we have the chance to expedite that! One of our partys, "die Grünen" (-> the greens) try to make it faster, and also Greenpeace says, that we can retire the last nuclear power plant already 2015.
We will go on protesting to show the government that they cant appease us so easy.
But it is a good beginning!
I hope it gives you a bit hope... I hope, other countries will follow suit.
