Due to having an extremely sore shoulder and being unable to see a specialist in the near future, I've had to give up all my enjoyable activities - knitting, painting, gaming, etc. So I've got more time to play around with the internet and start blogging on sites like these. I've nothing much to say at the moment, due to being completely miserable, but I wanted to stick my head up above the water and hopefully people will get in touch, just to say hi. I'm a single parent of a 5 year old boy. I educate him at home, as I do not believe in the British 'one size fits all' education system. We like going camping, but I'm seriously considering buying a small camper van, just to make it a bit more comfortable in the English rain. I hope to travel to China, either later this year or next, but my son has decided that he wants to stay with his dad - this is a bit sad for me, as I had hoped he would want to come with me. So if anyone has any experience of traveling alone around China, then I would appreciate any advice. All my friends and family think I'm insane and that it's not safe for a woman to travel alone, especially as I've not done a lot of solo foreign travel but it's something I HAVE to do. Enough for now. Peace to all. Jacky
