Did you guys see the Opening ceremony of the 08 Olympics? Well I did and so did my family and we all agreed it was spectacular! It was definately an eye opening performance for the foreigners showing them how great we Chinese can be and they shouldn't belittle the PRCs. The drum performance was awesome! Great coordination from 2008 males! I take my hat of them.
First day of the games today.. And I've started watching a couple of sports. To be honest I aint supporting my own country. Oops. yea i support different countries in different sports! haha I caught handball game today n it was such an exciting game between Hungary n Sweden! The hungarians were so fast in attacking! Its a pity that handball game is more of a European sport and very very few Asia countries play it. I've never tried that before and would love to! It looks better than basketball!
I watch beach volleyball next n it wasnt as exciting as the handball match.. Australia vs Russia kinda boring..
Swimming next and wow! Phelps did well as usual its good to see him again! ! I wanna see his performance in the finals!
Volleyball! USA vs Japan! One of the best volleyball games I've seen! Japan put up such a strong fight! Yes I'm a Nihon supporter! It was such a close fight! with USA winning the 1st 3rd n 4th match n Japan 2nd match n the scores were so close!! 20-25 25-20 19-25 21-25
That's for today! I'm glad I have a few days to rest n sit back to enjoy the olympics before uni starts next week.
In my opinion its a song that everyone fights to does a remake of it or a song that everyone have heard and knows how to sing it even till many years that has past.
Remember one of Jacky Cheung hit single 每天爱你多一些 ? yea that's a good song. Its only now then I realise Jacky did that remake of the song. (Thanks to pi of NEWS who recommend this song and claim that its his favourite love song of all time) The original version of that song is a Japanese song 真夏の果実 manatsu no kajitsu which is sang by Southern All Stars a popular japanese pop rock band back in the 70s 80s 90s and the song is compose by its lead singer Kuwata Keisuke.
Same old sickness again that happened to me when I was in HK in 2006 as well as this yr 2008.. Bloody gastric! It just cant seem to go away! It LOVES me But I HATE it
To me eating is a chore! Sigh Ever since I've been awfully ill (terrible food poisoning) in early 2006 I dislike eating. Whenever I eat, I will be sleepy. I eat to live unlike others that live to eat.
If only I can just open up or zip up my stomach whenever i'm hungry to throw food in it and then sew or zip it back. Life will be wonderful for me then
Japanese test tmr and I've yet to study finish! Been so tired n sleepy due to the gastric pain that I can't concentrate n didnt have time to study. Sigh
I'm praying hard that lady luck is smiling at me tmr!
N I like David Cook version of Always be my baby! Give such a different view of the song that was originally sang by Mariah Carey! David version is more emotional!
I was watching TVB8 Entertainment News Frontline and well reports say that Misia is coming to Singapore to hold a concert! Great! It has been awfully rare for a japanese singer to hold a concert here and now is one of this singer that I kinda admire the most!
Misia have such a powerful voice! She is most widely known for singing "Everything"
OMG I'm so excited now! I'm definately going for this concert! To people that like her voice as well, don't miss it!
p.s I just realise sandy lam is holding a concert here as well! I miss it last year! So not gonna miss it again this time. Time to set aside some cash for good entertainment!
Wanted to share pictures taken in the during the night ride and day ride of the Flyer but I realise I deleted the pictures taken during the night.
For those who didnt know, I'm currently working at the World largest observation Wheel (for now) but I will be leaving my job at the end of this month for studies. Uni is starting soon.
Yea I took the ride for 4 times already! haha twice in the night and twice in the day after work together with my colleagues. I must say both have their unique selling point. The night ride is more suitable for couples who seeks romance where you can see the lights of Singapore whereas for the day ride is more suitable for people who wishes to see a better skyline of Singapore as well as the neighbouring islands around her. I prefer the day ride where I can see a better view of Singapore.
Don't believe? Take a look!
You call this a capsule.. There are 28 capsules in total that are fully air conditioned.
This is the track for the upcoming F1 night street race in Singapore. I'm not sure why but it looks like Miami to me! haha
The city.. Tts the floating stadium for national day
The hotels around..
The other parts of Singapore
With my colleagues
took this from the position that I was standing from during work.. shhh
Do try taking the Flyer! Even tourist from the London Eye came and said that the view from the Flyer is wonderful!
