Today I have visited the famous Liu's Manor-House(大邑刘氏庄园),which sits in Da Yi, Sichuan Province. It was first built between the end of Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China. It is made up of the mansions of Liu Wen-cai(刘文彩)and his five brothers and his ancestral home(祖居) with covering over 21,000 square meters. Liu Xiang(刘湘) and Liu Wen-hui(刘文辉),the men of the hour in recent Sichuan history, were born here.
This is the entrance, a splendid start.

Liu Wen-cai's bed. It's said that this bed is better than that of the emperor at that time. The doorposts of the bed is engraved with golden dragons.
Their picturesque garden attracts many tourists, including little dogs.
This pair of chair are named Yuan Yang Chair(鸳鸯椅)
Liu Wen-cai prepared those coffins for his family even when they were young.
Followings present their luxurious furnishings.

This is the vegetable carved with red, yellow and green jades.
This is the 24-floor ivory tower.
Some people say he is a local tyrant and deserves disgust whereas another rebut this landowner is not so evil as said before.
Let history be judge.
