hi hi!!
"Manila Skies" was dipressing. a jobless man felt mentally trapped, adding to that the economic hardships he encountered. to my surprise, it was based on true story. sad.
"Colorum" is a road movie, the policeman and an old man release from prison drives to Manila to Luzon. during their trip, meet various people and they were influenced by travelars. finally they were back to Manila. on the road, it shows beautifulscenary and energic people.
remarked at how lively the country is, though
the final scene was too sad:-p i prefered to Colorum. so moved and was close to tears, no, wipe my streaming eyes on shirt sleeve

Yes, they look like the Japanese one especially in Bangkok, Thailand. There is a Kinokuniya branch that is only Japanese books. I had to walk for so many miles to get to the other branch that has English books.
My favorite is Kinokuniya in Takashimaya along Orchard Road Singapore. The staff is even Japanese! hahaha!
I believe yes it is based on gift-wrap culture. Only the Japanese puts so much importance and effort in wrapping something. I know its because if you wrap it nicely, you convey thoughtfulness to the person you are giving the gift to.
Wow, Masha is acting in a taiga drama or is this a modern drama? I want to watch his concert too but I am not a member and my japanese is not very good so chotto taihen to read his website. Hahaha!
