Hey, I managed to finish my editing in time. ^^
Home studio, home lighting, home editing. It took me some time cause I had 2 editing to do, one "standard" editing for Shoko, and one for me ;).
I don't know why I accepted to do this photoshoot. As I already said, I don't like fashion photos :p. And I thought I wouldn't be able to do anything acceptable as studio photos.

Bad title, but I got that song in my head.
I got so many blogs, site... and no time to update them, so I thought, why not another one!
Ok I heard from failproof sources that this place was for promoting artists and things like that. So I wanna be in!
I'm no artist, I'm more the cartesian, boring scientist always saying things like : "mmm didn't like the film, there's a contradiction just when he takes his shoes off."
The only artistic quality I could have is my curiosity, all other things that could be artistic in me is things people dislike in artist. (from vanity to vanilla).
Oh forgot to say, I like photos, I mean I like shooting as much, if not more, as watching photos. I have a lot I would have to post, but I have also a lot I woudl have to post-process... I'm sooo late with processing my photos. But good news, I'll soon have my new post processor and so will work on my photos and post them.
About my photos... The first photos I did take that looked nice were sort of flowers' macros, I was in middle school if I'm right.
For quite some time I only shoot buildings or landscapes. I don't really like shooting people for one simple reason : I like when people look natural, I don't like shooting people without them agreeing. : and here my cartesian spirit says "if you ask them if they'd agree, they won't be natural anymore...." Some time, when I feel like it I randomly shoot in crowded areas, but I don't want to do more (hey don't want to be sued).
BUT I recently did a "studio" photo shoot with my friend... And had a lot of fun, so I might consider doing more (I feel like I betrayed myself : fashion photos and studio photos are the kind I absolutly wouldn't do ...) Ok So for the moment next post will certainly be a selection of this studio photo shoot. There will be 2 versions, one that fits my friend's will about a B&W shoot, and one following my own feelings about the photos so make sur to watch both if you're interested.
Posting forcasting : by the end of the week if everything's alright. You can already see the first selection in B&W @ http://www.alivenotdead.com/Myshoko (don't know the rules about linking pages, hope I don't break any here).
I was adviced to do this blog in what could be called a more conventionnal way, but I can't help saying things the way I do. I can't take life seriously, I think I wouldn't bear it. Hope you won't mind.
One last thing that could be interesting about my photos style, I've got deuteranomaly... For those wondering it means I'm part color blind.
