Franny, glad to know you will attend. Unfortunately I can only attend in spirit... sigh!
This is a very spontaneuos event, not organized, we (LLA) only asked the authorities for permission to gather there as usual,
so maybe it's better if every fan carries his/her own candle, or maybe a flower instead of a candle, if they prefer so.

はい、あのイベントは一応「ブラッドブラザーズ」公開記念だったので、20分のトークショーだったので王家衛（ウォン・カーウァイ）監督がらみは、あれで精いっぱいでした。実際、あまりに近かった人に質問するのはなかなか勇気がいります。リーホンにレスリーの話をして泣かせてしまったので、ものすごく後悔してるんです。

Thanks for signing my guestbook. Last time I was in Japan I did a tour of most of the country but didn't have much time for sightseeing. This time i'm mostly doing western Honshu and Nagasaki - I have it mostly planned out now! Best wishes, Simon

Hi, Jasmin. Thank you for your reply. I had visited Hong Kong Heritage Museum last April. I wrote a request card and put it on the boad. I wrote that I would like to see Leslie Cheung's concert custumes at the museum.

Hi Franny, thanks for replying.
Originally from Singapore but have been living and working in Australia since 1986.  Due to lack of exposure to Asian stars since '86  (hardly any mention in Oz, apart from Jackie Chan and Jet Li) and deprivation of many good movies,news,  etc, I first discovered Leslie about 3 years ago in the movie "All's Well That Ends Well".  Of course, it was too late to enjoy  first hand experience any of Leslie's concerts by now but I love his last concert Passion Tour.  It got class and style, full of emotion, electric and unforgettable.  Comparing the concert dvd from his previous 2 concerts, it was different.  He's always been very daring but there's something very  different in the Passion Tour.  From then on, I own many of his movie dvds and cds.
First time visited Hong Kong last year and was glad Leslie is rememberd on the Walk of Fame. There's a section in the Hong Kong Cultural Museum in Shatin, New Territories, whereby tributes are given to  past stars . I think Leslie should have been given a bigger exposure alongside Roman Tam.  Check it out  if you havent done so next time in HKG.  I hope to return some time in 2009.  What about you??

he was a good actor too.

hello Franny, I log onto yr blog when I was checking the 'and' home page and saw Leslie's news. I, too, am a Leslie fan, albeit a late one but that doesn't mean I love him less. I planned to be in Hongkong for Leslie's anniversary last year in April but plans fell through. I'm so glad really dedicated fans like you organises events to remember this amazing talent.
