  • Stanley's French (Restaurant)

    Monday, May 11, 2009 8:40AM / Standard Entry

I had heard that Stanley's French was a location place of Moonlight Express from my fan friend. So last year I went  there, but I made a mistake, because I got an old information.

    From Japanese travel magazine 1995.
Stanley's French is there.(see magazine picture.) Corner of Stanley Main Street.
Now Boat House restaurant is there.

Stanley's French was moved 90B Stanley Main Street, because I found it on another travel magazine.

    From Japanese Travel magazine 2001
    Stanley's French.

It said there was a location place of Moonlight Express.(もう一度逢いたくて 星月童話)
But this restaurant was closed already.
I went to Stanley on 3rd April, I looked for 90B Stanley Main street.
I found  "Pizza Express" and Hotel there.

  • Trattoria BUAISO

    Friday, Feb 27, 2009 2:42PM / Standard Entry

On 17th January I went to Fukuoka to attend Leslie fans' gathering. In 2001, Leslie had the passion tour concert in Fukuoka. After his concert, he had a party with his staffs at the restaurant,
Some fans who live in Fukuoka planed to have a fans' gathering there. The restaurant manager accepted their request and he served "Leslie's menu" to us.

    Trattoria BUAISO(English sounds like Boo-I-saw)

The restaurant manager didn't know about Leslie at the time, but 2 Chinese cooks noticed Leslie and they were so excited!! They asked two-shot photos and autograph to Leslie.
I will post some photos of BUAISO on my "Pictures".

    Leslie's Menu

    Spinach salad
    Carpaccio of Octopus and Rucola
    Marine of Smaoked Salmon
    Chicken breast Caprese
3 kinds of Fried(Fried chicken, Fried potatos, Fried chicken gristle)
    Beef steak
    Anchovy oil Pasta
    Gim-Chi (Kimchi)Bibimbbap

The restaurant manager said Leslie and his staff cereblated someone's birthday at the time. So they brought a big birthday cake and wines. They ate cake and they were full to the brim, so they couldn't eat Gim-Chi Bibimbbap. Some fan said it was Mrs. Florence Chan's mother's birthday. She came to Japan with them.

If you have a chance to come to Fukuoka, please visit  this restaurant and have  Leslie's menue. It was delicious!! Please ask order to the manager before you go.

  • Doll's Festival

    Wednesday, Feb 25, 2009 8:46AM / Standard Entry

We have the Doll's Festival on 3rd March in Japan. It's the day to pray for health growth and happiness for girls. It's also called Momo-no-Sekku. (It means Peach Festival) Most families wish girls display dolls called Hina-ningyo.The dolls depict the imperial court. They are dressed in beautiful ancient court costume.

I made the Origami Hina dolls.

I like to make Origami crafts. Recently I am making Origami roses (Kawasaki rose) for Leslie. :-)
