Feng Xiaogang's 'If You Are The One' Breaks Box Office Records

Released Dec 18, Feng Xiaogang's 'If You Are The One' has just become the second biggest grossing Chinese language film in Chinese film history at $44.22million (RMB302m). Who is at the top? John Woo's first installment of his two parter 'Red Cliff' which has grossed $45.68 million (RMB312m). Feng Xiaogang has also become the first Chinese director to break the 1 billion yuan ($146 million) mark with his collection of films. With 'If You Are The One' only partway through it's initial release there is a chance that it could surpass Part 1 of 'Red Cliff' very soon.
