Emz was born in Hong Kong, raised in Vancouver, moved back to her birthplace for high school.
She believes that communication is essential to the success of everything which is why she studied at a late French immersion school in grade six and seven. She continues taking external French lessons and has started learning Mandarin at school. Her interest in climate change and writing has brought her pretty far in life and school (in terms of scholarship).
She is currently a student at an IB World school. AND IB STANDS FOR INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE IF YOU DIDN'T KNOW :) And yes, she did join the "Victims of IB" group on FB
Her past projects for 2009/2010 were Stationeries4All (MYP Personal Project) and the annual school production at her school, Bugsy Malone.
She plans to take environmental sciences or biochemistry in university but doesn't know if she'll survive IBDP next year.
