    the shopaholic series by Sophie Kinsella...

    just finished this one as well as the movie... a real page-turner! the movie's okay, especially when the main character is actually an Aussie... yet to me was kinda a different story. is now halfway thru the second one 'shopaholic takes Manhattan'... equally fun!

    Though that movie was awesome, I like the book better.
    The vast mount of details in the books can really bring you into her world! =]

    sounds funny. it reminds Ceci's hong kong movie, i havent seen that yet though.
