Review of Wing Chun (aka Yong Chun)

Martial arts master Liang Zan (Yuen Biao) was once young and rash, and now a respected master and physician, not to mention the father of two sons. Liang Zan must pass on his kung fu skills to the next generation, but his eldest son Liang Bi (Nicholas Tse) is reckless, aimless, and irresponsible, much like him in his youth; his youngest son Chun has no interest in kung fu and wishes to become a doctor. Growing up in the chaos of early 1900s China, Liang Bi encounters countless troubles and trials, romance, and a certain playful master Huang Hua Bao (Sammo Hung), who teaches him the art of Wing Chun.
I had been looking for absolutely ages to find this drama online with subtitles, and finally found it. The fight scenes and the acting from the cast were excellent. Sammy Hung was fantastic as Gao Ming who was often a tortured soul who turned evil sometimes due to events that happened. Also the character Haushun was perfectly casted with Philip Ng in the role, funny yet excellent kung fu learner. There is 40 episodes to this drama, but dont let that put you off, its worth every minute.
My rating for this drama is 10 out of 10.

As the self named Drama Ho, I probably watch more dramas than every member. I've perhaps watched more in total but I'm not sure (not sure who the members are actually). Anywho, I've actually finished about 4 or 5 dramas since 2/19, 6 or 7 total this year and it's only March! Mind you I started a couple last year. Yep, I keep the running list of dramas on my page, but rarely do I ever tell you guys if what I've finished is crap. That is, until now. I'll start with the recently finished.*City Hall, The (KOR) - delightfulCain & Abel (KOR) - well actedQue Sera Sera (KOR) - a waste*When It's At Night (KOR) - entertainingAutumn's Concerto (TWN) - melodramatic but well-roundedIRIS (KOR) - thrillingTokyo Dogs (JPN) - funMomo Love (TWN) - uhh .... alrightSoul (KOR) - creepy*I've become a big Sun Ah (My Lovely Sam-Seon) fan. She stars in both these dramas.The best out of the lot is IRIS, but I'll take espionage and action over anything. Both IRIS and TD are well acted, but TD is more of a comedy. Plus, IRIS is steps above TD in terms of production. Yes, it has romance in it. It is, afterall, an Asian drama.
Not into action? Try City Hall. It's a romance comedy and it has it's fair amount of tears, but it's funny. I found myself laughing out loud during almost every episode. The cast is great. Loads of chemistry and great timing in this drama.Note: I hate AnD's default spacing. I mean what the hell is up with double space? Loved all the action Lee Byung Hun was amazing, Kim Tae Hee was beautiful as always, and T.O.P. from Big Bang loved his cold-hearted killer look! I reccommend this one if you like action bit of romance. My rating 4.5/5 and i heard there will be a Season 2 of this coz the show was so successful.2.
