  exactly!!! the best part is that the teens (well theyre young adults now) were the ones who pointed out that i could justify taking a break cos its xmas holidays :D im happier making a mix - reading other things - which has actually given me even more ideas - but its certainly helped me rethink my steps - there were no problems with the way i wanted to go but i think im too fast - and i need to slow down for ppl to catch up and understand - ahhh but im glad you understand and support my decision! xxx

  interesting - thanks for adding more stuff on my big pile of paper for me to read :P haha jokes aside - smart move - if anything thats one of the first things that hit me when i was at law school - that if you wanted a lawyer to take on a case - you should get one that is NOT passionate about it haha - well you can understand why - but this really only applies in law - i didnt go the whole nine yards with law - i submitted an "oath" to the law society stating that i had no plans or intentions to seek a professional career in law so i could bow out of the registration and formalities of becoming a qualified one - i couldnt stomach the thought of my whole life as a lawyer (no offense to you at all :P im just far too artistic and my heart is all too humanitarian - and we both know human rights lawyers go through prometheus type pain on a daily basis) speaking of which - issue 3 has a comic artist who does wonderfully intelligent comicstrips on the miserable world of prometheus and (yes this was and is cheeky of me to have done this backwards) i recently sent him a heartfelt apology for not seeking permission to print first - however - as the publication is educational - and the result of my using his work is complimentary - i justified using it - anyways - he wrote back! saying it was fine and he was flattered! you know when i finished my thesis (i got a high distinction for it btw ;P - im just happy about getting away with the m-#$&%# word in the title hehe) i sent it to larry flynt - but i didnt get a response - and this was in 2004 :P so if you ever come across him could you send him my way? man i would love LF to help out - i think that would make me happier than having children of my own!!! thank you again for your support it really does make a huge difference - hong kong is a tough city - it has a very different mindset from other cities - well i find it lacks a real appreciation and understanding of human beings and individuality - well LF actually says it all for me - you know i actually only found those videos a few months ago - i wish i had seen them when i was doing research for my thesis - but then again - things happen for a reason - so it was a nice reminder for me of what my task and purpose is - i wont give up - yes ill moan and whine, cry and threaten to give up im sure because well i am a woman after all :P but deep down i dont think i have the balls to give up (crazy huh?) i am really truly appreciative and moved that you are able to see what im doing - on this side of the pond - majority just see me doing a magazine - thank you xxx

  Yes, definitely "Don't judge a book by its cover" mantra motto - and on the Larry Flynt matters, ALL PEOPLE of the USA, and especially the neo-conservatives should take heed of LF's quote regarding the protection of the US Constution, that if it will protect a scumbag like him, then it is definitely written for application to all of us. On an analogy sidenote, if you are interested in another interesting matter of the rights of all to do as they feel expressive-wise, there was a case/matter involving the KKK (Ku Klux Klan)where someone or some organization was trying to obtain a list of their membership, etc., based upon them being a hate group, ractist, etc. and the KKK claimed privacy rights, private organization like a country club, etc. The phenonmenal thing about it all was that the lawyer that agreed to represent the KKK was a BLACK/African American Lawyer. He was initially vilified by the Black community, NAACP, etc., but his comeback was something that would be similar to or on par with the thinking of LF - that if the KKK as a private organization was forced to give up their membership lists, etc., then the next step that would happen would be then that the KKK would be entitled to a membership list of the NAACP, Rainbow Coaliation, and any other private organization with the same or similar IN ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE(not social or moral concept) to the KKK - basically saying "what is good for the goose also applies to the gander" strategy. So he initially represented the "rights" of the KKK, so as the bigger and better good to protect the rights of ALL GROUPS, whether considered "good " or "bad" in a moral sense, all the while expressing that this is not a "moral" matter but a "rights" and "freedom" and "liberty" matter. Well, anyway, I thought it was interesting.
