  I did find a new alarm clock. It's still pretty old style w/o the ipod compatibility. $10 US. I just need it to tell time and get me up in the mornings. I'll get my music elsewhere. ;)

  It is a good idea to pre-cook instant noodles. I started doing that only last year. haha. I guess it's a way to cleanse it and remove extra oil. Yeh, none of the packages include that in their instructions. It wouldn't be instant noodles anymore if they did. lol.

  You've had gummi bears, haven't you, man-o'-the-world? Gummi worms taste pretty much like that but maybe a little softer. The other flavors, and more not shown, are very tasty and fun to eat for a few minutes.

  omg, I think this would be so cute! lol. One organization did have some people under these box costumes that resembled some notable buildings in SF Chinatown. I thought that was so original.

  haha. My mom's always looking for a mahjong game. She never commits to going out with me bc her games, which sometimes spur of the moment things, are first and foremost to her. I'm cool with that bc she enjoys it and it keeps her brain going.

  I agree about the enjoyment of getting stuff in regular mail. Anything but bills, ads, and dental/optical reminders were a nice surprise.

  A couple of months ago I was trying to plan a trip during Xmas/NY's. They were all to frozen places like NYC or Canada. I'm glad I didn't...and just stayed put. Looks like the weather is really socking it to some places.
  
  It's blue skies and temps in the 50s over in the Bay Area. I likey.
