COCKFIGHT wants to send an enormous THANK YOU to AnD for making us artists.

And thank you AGAIN to those of you who caught our first-ever gig and even clapped and stuff... We were as pleasantly surprised by the reaction as many of you appeared to be by the music.

Thanks also for allowing us to post some of our music. These two songs are demos (i.e. unfinished, skeletal 'sonic sketch pads') that help us learn the songs. For example, Heaven Bound now has another chorus, right before the bridge.

The intro to Blind in Kowloon is longer too. The reason you hear chickens in the second chorus is because that's where the line "Chase the chickens up and down Portland St." goes.

In other words, it's not a song about the visually impaired.

If you knew what the room smelled like at that moment, you would understand.

When the band first started, people asked us what kind of music it would be. 'Loud-@ss rock' was my instinctive first answer. Someone recently said of our music that there isn't much of this kind of thing in Hong Kong.

We know.

That's why we started the band.
