I started learning about God at the age of 10. One day, I read in Exodus 20 about God being a jealous God. I was a little confused . On the one hand I was taught not o be jealous but here I was worshiping a jealous God . How could this be ?After many years of Bible study , I finally understand what it means . Our God deserve our all , in worship and devotion . He is a jealous God because He cannot bear to see His children bowing down and worshiping other gods at the same time . we are respeatedly taught nt to serve idols, which are merely images crafted by men. Apart from such images, work and pleasure can also become our idols , competing for our devotion and worship . Ths happens when we put our career and programs before Him . Whenever we do so , we reduce God to an inferior position in our lives . No one loves half-hearted devotion. this nature of God is ours , too . we don't like to be treated second-best, so why do w treat God second-best ? Learn to give your all to Him , today !
