New Stuff

Always happy when I get new stuff! An auntie (close family friend) came to visit us from HK and bought me a Ferragamo bag (see below). I love pink, so it suits me just fine. And I recently bought a dress in preparation for weddings this year... but up till now, I've only been formally invited to 2 weddings this year (one next week, one this December in HK- I'm gonna be the MC!).

High School Prom

As you can see below, my high school friends were mostly Chinese. Of course, I had Caucasian friends too, but when you go to a high school where over 50% of the student population is Chinese, chances are you'll probably hang out with them if you are one of them yourself!

Sacrifices

Why is it always the woman who sacrifices? I don't know any men who have given up their job or career to be with their partner. On the other hand, I've seen and heard stories of women who sacrificed their career and more to be with their partner.

How time flies! It's almost been a month since I've joined this site and I've been inspired by so many people here!

Been seeing a lot of teenagers all dressed up for prom lately. I'm relieved that the FBI authorities foiled that crazy NYC bomb plot today! I can't imagine another terrorist attack on the poor New Yorkers (not to mention every other INNOCENT person all around the world.).Still hot and mucky in Toronto.
