NIÑO of CINEMALAYA 2011 by Director Loy Arcenas won many awards both in the Philippines and internationally. This was the first film of Loy Arcenas . In New York, both Art and Loy won the OBIE AWARD together for the ROMANCE OF MAGNO RUBIO. NIÑO will be shown on the FOX FILIPINO Channel on Friday at 945pm.

Starring: Shamaine Centenera -Buencamino, Fides Duyugan-Asencio, Art Acuña, Raquel Villavicencio, Joaquin Pedro-Valdes, Tony Mabesa.

Best Supporting Actor winner: Cinemalaya 2011&2012 in the Philippines, GAWAD URIAN AWARDS 2012 winner &The Golden Entertainment Press Awards winner for Best Supporting Actor. Most recently in Singapore Repertory Theatre's GOD OF CARNAGE. Last play in the U.S.A., the world premiere of Duncan Sheik's "Whisper House" at The Old Globe Theatre in San Diego,CA.(2010). He has also appeared on Law and Order, Law and Order Criminal Intent, One life To Live, As The World turns, and Stella on Comedy Central.He received an OBIE award for "The Romance of Magno Rubio" in New York, and best actor award for "Batang West Side" at the CineManila International Film Festival. Currently on TV as Shivaji on Princess&I.Arthur also played the role of Macario Locsin, the cold-blooded rebel, in John Sayles' film, "Amigo" (2010). He claims his true talent is Maritina Romulo.
