Robert’s first foray into the world of animation began in univeristy, where he spent many a night playing underneath an Oxberry animation stand. His early experiments led him to work for some of the top commercial animation houses in Toronto such as Cuppa Coffee Animation, Spin Productions and The Studio Upstairs.

As a Creative Director, Robert has helmed numerous projects for renowned clients such as the NBA, TMN, W Network, Air Canada and Alliance Atlantis. The latter lead to the creation of an eerie opening title sequence for David Cronenberg’s eXistenz.

Robert has also expanded his directorial limbs, venturing into the world of music video and documentary work. He has completed 7 music videos to date - one of which was nominated for the 2004 East Coast Music Awards prestigious Video of the Year award.

Most recently Robert directed an episode for a new documentary series called Rawside, broadast on IFC Canda. He’s also is finishing up work on his first feature length documentary, All Out War. The trailer for the film is already creating a buzz worldwide, with screenings at the Vancouver Hip Hop Film Festival, as well as the Constellation Change Screen Dance Festival in London. Most recently the trailer has won the 2006 Special Jury prize at the Cabbagetown Short Film & Video Festival in Toronto.
