New Lovewright tee's have arrived!

For all you die-hard Lovewright fans...the new tee's have finally arrived at 8FIVE2SHOP.

And this time, we have some women's tee's (Yes Lisa S. It's true! )

Danny got the women's tee's fitting down: Soft, tight, a bit longer so you don't show any unwanted jiggle, and not so high on the neck just the way I like them!

If you're sleeping on this brand,

G.O.D in Starbucks!

For those of you who have visited us in HK, we’ve probably taken you to a shop called G.O.D as it’s one of our main stops on the Briannie HK Tour. G.O.D as in the phonetic sound of the Cantonese slang “to live better” not God as in Hallelujah praise the lord, is in my opinion one of the best shops in HK. Their clever designs are a mix of old traditional Hong Kong with a new contemporary twist. Sure you can find cheesy souvenirs of Hong Kong all over the markets in HK but, your chances of finding the same piece in Canal St in New York ...Read more

CHEUNG CHAU

Cheung Chau is one small island in Hong Kong 30 minutes by fast ferry from Central. It has one of the tightest community with a lot of characters. I remember back in 1989 or so, there were a Cheung Chau skateboard crew, one of them is Chung Pak Khei aka ‘SiFu’, he was the illest. I’m pretty sure he was the leader within the crew, a true good leader. Pak Khei has been in Cheung Chau since day 1, he’s native and he’s CC OG, no doubt about it. He represents Cheung Chau to the fullest.

This year 2009, we still keep in touch with Pak Khei...Read more

The Skateboard Mag

The Skateboard Mag was started by some of the most skateboarding OG media people. Dave Swift, Grant Brittain, Ako & Atiba, Rodent, Jon Humphries, Paul Zitzer and more. I mean, I love all the official skateboard magazines; Thrasher, Slap (still), Transworld Skateboarding, The Skateboarder, SkateBook and of course, one of the best, The Skateboard Mag. The Skateboard Mag always change their layout into something really really fresh, thanks to Ako for making it happen. Ill ass photos by Jon Humphries and Rodent. Definitely original wr...Read more

Go Skateboarding Day was started in 2004 by IASC (International Association of Skateboard Companies), this year 2009, we are celebrating 5 years of Go Skateboarding Days. Hong Kong has been participating Go Skateboarding Day since last year and this year is our second, most definitely more to come.

Definitely thank you Vans for making it happen and all local skateboard shops (8FIVE2SHOP and HKIT), of course, to all local skateboarders that will participate on 21st June 2009, the official Go Skateboarding Day. ...Read more

FOREVER31

FOREVER31 is a crew of a skateboarders age 31 or above which we started when I turned 32. Last Sunday was a blessing, the OG Hong Kong FOREVER31 crew were out and having tons of fun at Chai Wan Skatepark (except Daryll Griggs, dayeem, we miss that cat). It was myself, Warren Stuart ‘WZA’, Hui Chun Kwok ‘Lee Hawk’, Andy Lee, and Jimmy Wong. All of us have been skateboarding here in Hong Kong for (at least) more than 21 years. Hong Kong OG for real. I always respect their skills and none of us can even come close to winning game of S K A T E aga...Read more
