  Greetings! Thank u for droppin by our blog! Our mixtape release party is on the 24th of July which is about a week from now! We're excited about puttin out this project and we hope that yall would like it. It's gonna be at To Kwa Wan Cattle Depot. We just wanted a different environment for rap music instead of the usual club scenes. Since some of our members are into other forms of arts besides music, we decided that the Cattle Depot Arts Village is a good place to launch our free mixtape. Hope to see all of you on that day!

  Apart from the mixtape, we're going on a new direction musically. We're getting our minds off the mid-90s themed mixtape and workin on new stuff. So, here's a video of one of the new songs called "Fantasy Island" which is heavily inspired by Redang Island, Malaysia. Ironically, one of our members Kodie couldnt appear in the video as he was actually having a trip to Malaysia.

  Our Mixtape will be released soon! This is a song from the tape called So Far To Go featuring Ghost Style. It's a song about our relationship with music. Jacked a beat from Common which was produced by the late J. Dilla. Common was the one who did "I Used To Love HER". So it's only right that we do a song like this over his beat.

  today is very happy , cuz 85up2 had finish to record a new song  , the new song
  music is made by Kwokkin , and this is first time listen kwokkin made a beat like this style ,
  we all very happy , cuz the beat and the song is really really dope , hahaha
  when we finished we go eat and  discuss something

• TAKEOVER!

  This is DoughBoy taking over the 85Blog for the day! Hope yall are cool with that! If u guys didnt know, our mixtape is completed. We're just waiting for the cover art and looking for the right venue to release it. We jacked beats from AZ, Common, Pete Rock and Jay Z. The other half of the beats are made by our beloved mr. Dennis Zee. Dont let anyone fool u buy telling u that they the best beatmaker in HK!! If it aint a Dennis Zee beat, it aint the best! We have GhostStyle from 24Herbs and Brass Face from Phoenix Cry(China) on this tape. Thanks a lot for their verses.
