    You will find happiness...

screen cap from "눈의 여왕" (noon eui yeo wang) episode two

Our Lady's tears... the tears that Mary shed at the cross turned into Lily of the Valley flowers.

learned a little more about this flower... national flower of Finland since 1982, and is the birth month flower of May. There's actually another legend to it: this flower was said to have sprang up from the blood of Saint Leonard during his battle with the dragon Malitia. Language of this flower: "return of happiness", "humility"...

    Other birth month flowers:

January - the Carnation or Snowdrop
February - the Violet or Primrose
March - the Jonquil (aka Daffodil or Narcissus)
April - the Sweet pea or Daisy
May - the Lily of the Valley
    June - the Rose
July - the Larkspur or Water Lily
August - the Gladiolus or Poppy
September - the Aster or Morning Glory
    October - the Calendula (Marigold)
    November - the Chrysanthemum
    December - the Narcissus

The meaning of the February Birth Flower, the Violet symbolizes faithfulness, humility, and chastity.....nearly correct :)

I love how you find these sites. That's a beautiful saying for the Lily of the Valley and the legend is good too, but I love the saying to it, very sweet. Nice  birth flower
