It`s been a while since i made blog entry here. That`s mainly because i had more or less given up this blog, then i decided to continue for a while. I am currently trying to sell my flat because i am not happy living there, due to all the racket that happens every night there.

I have actually not sleept there since January. The flat is VERY badly soundproofed, it is that at all. If i lean my head close to some wall, i could actually hear the neighbours talking. If i knew there was so much racket there and badly soundproofed, i wouldn`t have bought it in the first place.

I really regret i bought the flat. The neighbour over me is a very inconsiderate person. I have barely got any sleep there when i was there, because of him. I have been so mad at him that i wanted to punch him. I believe the flats were made very cheap in Estonia, then put together here.

I hope someone buys my flat soon, so i can buy a new flat somewhere else. I`m actually looking at a flat that i may buy if there isn`t anyone living above there. I very much look forward to get away from those inconsiderate neighbours and never go back there. It`s been like a nightmare living there. I don`t know when my next blog entry will be made, but it will probably be when someone has bought my flat or something.

Fitness center

Earlier this month, me and of my social worker began working out at a local fitness center. I want to lose weight and come in better shape, that`s why i began training.

I have used treadmills, spinning bike and i used various weights. Some of the workout equipment was hard to use, but since this was the first time i was there, it was normal.

I liked to walk fast on the treadmill. The first time i was there, i walked for 42 minutes. When i went off the treadmill, i felt very dizzy. It went away after a short while. I forgot to take with a bottle with something to drink, so that`s probably why i was so dizzy.

Now i take with me a bottle each time. I had pain under my feet after that first day. I did hurt to walk. I get warm, sweaty and tired after each workout, but you are supposed to be that.I think it`s good to workout. We will continue to go to the center and train together.

Spending time with my family + other stuff

I have been sick for a couple days now, i caught the cold. I am beginning to feel better. A couple minutes ago i came home, after spending 8 hours with my family. Those hours actually went fast as i was with good company.

Yesterday and today, i all of the sudden felt lonely, so that`s why i visited my parents for many hours and i didn`t have much to do. I have had little appetite these two days, and i didn`t eat a lot. In this afternoon, i suddenly got some of my appetite back. My mother gave me some food, which was nice.

We my, father, little brother, big brother (who has moved in a couple weeks ago after he had to move out of his flat. He couldn`t find a flat in time, so that`s why he lives there now. I`m sure he will find a reasonable flat soon.) My mother also is there of course. We talked and saw on tv together. It was nice with some company when i am sick. They are kind and it was nice.

I have also had trouble sleeping at night this week. `My mother said it`s probably because i have the cold. I will take two tablets similar to what you call in USA, for Aspirin before i go to bed in hope i can sleep better. I have been yawning these past couple days. I need a good night`s sleep. I have read that eating bananas will make you sleepy. I will eat a banana later.

Strange encounter

I just came home to my flat after visiting my parents. On the way back at a bus-stop there was several youths standing there as i went past them one not so pretty woman to my suprise, suddenly came rushing beside me and i turned to look at the her, she suddenly just out of the blue said "Are you in the mood?" with a stupid grin.

I was foolish enough to say no to her idotic question. I regret i said no, i should have walked faster and ignored her. It did not end with that, after i answered her she began imitating and making fun how i walked and then she laughed, so did her stupid friends.

Then she just walked back. I just shaked my head and said "strange woman". I hope she saw me shaking my head and heard what i said. Then as i walked away from them i turned briefly around and gave them a angry look. Which they probably didn`t see, but they must have seen me looking at them. As i walked further i just became more angry and cursed them.

The time it happend was around 21:40, at night and it`s pretty dark here, so they was obviously going to town to party. I guess when the dark night comes in the weekends, the weirdo`s also emerge. If something like this happens again, i know what to do. I hope i don`t meet more strange idiots like that. This made me angry as you can see. I am still angry as i write this.

My Blu-ray player arrived 2 days ago

My Oppo BDP-83 finally arrived. I found this player impressive. I bought for 6000 Norwegian Kroner.That would be 973.428 in USD, according to Xe.com . I can tell it worth all the money. This player is very fast, what i mean is that it loads a disc in just 10 seconds. My old dvd player used probably 20 to 25 seconds to load a dvd. That is great.

My first Blu-ray film i saw was the first Matrix film. I saw this film on the early afternoon. That`s why i could have the loud volume. I have seen it many times before on VHS. It`s probably like 8 years since i last saw it on my big brothers VHS. And now watching it again on Blu-ray is like watching it for the first time, it`s a completly new experience. I was very impressed by the razor sharp picture quality and the dynamic and bass heavy Dolby TrueHD 5.1 audio track.

The picture was SO detailed and sharp with strong and great colours. In the fight scenes and the shoot-outs, they bass was very deep and clear, also they sounded real. It sounded like they were fighting and shooting right in front of me in the living room!. One scene i really liked was when Neo was shooting with some kind of huge machinegun in a helicopter, the bass so loud and cool. I just turned up the volume more and enjoyed the much too brief scene. I always turn up the volume when action scenes shows up, then i turn it down when it`s finished.

I would like you to see a comparison between the dvd versions and the Blu-ray version at the link below. There you can see the much improved quality, compared to the standard definition dvds. It`s best if you click on the Blu-ray pictures, so you get a much bigger picture..

And, as always, don't forget that the grabs only give an indication of how these discs look. The screen-grab process itself brings its own issues with it (such as jpg compression), and give absolutely no idea of how they actually look in motion.So, they look much better when you see it on tv yourself.

Very good player with plenty of great useful functions. I couldn`t be more happier.
