• October 20, 2007: NBA Game in Shanghai

  On the morning of October 17, I attended the opening ceremony in Shanghai for Disney's fun house.  If you are interested in this event you can read more here:

  Today was the first day for mutual cooperation between the One Foundation and the NBA.  Along with doctors and teachers, I accompanied four children with leukemia to fulfill their dreams of attending an NBA game.
  
  Watching the NBA provided me with three observations:
  
  First is the concept of "team work"; the key to success is not just through individual effort, but rather as a result of people working together
  
  Second is the idea of being pro-active with charity work.  The NBA athletes are very aggressive in helping out with charity events.  it is a spirit that we all should adopt.
  
  Third is never giving up.  You can never tell which team will win until the last second.  Every player tries their best and doesn't give up until the last moment.  Shouldn't we all treat life with the same attitude?
  
  Thanks to the mutual cooperation of Disney, the NBA and the One Foundation, we were able to fulfill the dreams of these four children with leukemia.  Through this video I would like to share with you the joy of that special evening.
