  • zoni(雑煮)

    Friday, Jan 2, 2009 12:48PM / Members only

Though I don't want to talk a gloomy story now...I had to go to company year-end party about one week ago.

    bihada nabe (美肌鍋)
"bihada" means beautiful skin. This nabe contain an ingredient such as collagen to make the skin beautiful.

    Yakitori(焼き鳥)

I don't have someone near of my generation in my office,so I have a tough time during the company year-end party year after year. There are no young people at all and my four bosses are bad drunks at that...frankly it's nothing more than misery for me!!After the company year-end party or new year party,I feel like quitting my job each time.I'll never go to the company new year party... Oh...No~~~,I need to think happy thoughts!!

...Four days later,I visited to one of our restaurants to enjoy friendly conversation with a young guy.Among the employees of our restaurants,he is the only person with a gentle heart. And I can enjoy friendly conversation with him.His words have reassured me,so I was able to enjoy a great New Year's Day.hehe

In Japan, generally we have rice cakes boiled in vegetable soup which is called "zoni(雑煮)" on New Year's Day,but it has different tastes from region to region. In the Kansai area, people enjoy a zoni of white miso flavor like this.

Basically we only eat zoni a few times at New Year's.
It was good, but I got tired of eating zoni, because I ate zoni yesterday and today...haha
  • My last drawing

    Wednesday, Dec 24, 2008 8:58PM / Members only

I need some stuffs to draw someone every time. Those are as follows.

    ・sketchbook

・several types of pencils in hardness from 4H to 6B

    ・tracing paper

    ・kneaded eraser

    ・eraser

It isn't that I need a tracing paper to trace someone's face in magazine photo, this paper just acts as a barrier for dirt like this.Hmm...Should I buy a fixative spray again?

    ...Well,here is my new drawing.

I hope you could recognize at a glance that I drew Tony Leung (梁朝偉).I think his shy smile has captured the hearts of many women (though I'm not a big fan of him).
This will be my last drawing of this year...I'll draw some artists again next year!

    Merry Christmas to you all!

    I bought a odd-shaped eraser yesterday...

I have wanted to buy this plastic eraser. But I bought a pretty big eraser when I was a student, because my major was art.And I couldn't use up it till fairly recently...Finally I was able to get new one.haha
Oh,I bought a erasing stick in July, and of course I feel it's a useful article...

This eraser has twenty eight corners!

I found out this web site today.I have never seen these erasers in any store, but it seems that this is manufactured in Japan...Cute erasers!haha

  • At the climbing store

    Monday, Dec 15, 2008 8:26AM / Members only

I went to Sanjo Kawaramachi with my sister the day before yesterday, and I took this picture at Sanjo Station(三条駅) then.On the day,we could see the Christmas trees everywhere in the town...

My sister wanted to buy the winter clothing at uniqlo store, but unfortunately it was sold out.
Meanwhile, actually I wasn't planning to spend my money on winter clothing, but I bought two types of sweaters in the end.
My sister was desperate to get the warm jacket, because she is extremely sensitive to cold. So,we went to the climbing gear store named mont-bell club Kyoto store. She thought climbing jackets should be quite warm...

This bear dressed in a vest stood by the store entrance,we received a warm welcome at the store front...haha

The bear wore a nice Christmas wreaths around his head!

By the way,he has a nice vest on,but that looks too tight...Huh?Isn't that a price tag?

    ¥357,000(including tax)

The bear is priced at 357 thousand yen!Oh,I can't believe it!!!
