Yeh, the whacks on my head was really surprising. Nothing gentle about that portion of the facial. haha. I have another appt next Tue and will have my eyelashes permed. Thought I'd give that a try. ;)

Glad to hear your grandma is doing well :-) Too bad you can't take time off otherwise 10 days in NYC with your parents and grandma sound like fun. Oh well, there's always next time right?

Your whole family went to NY with you? Sometimes it's good not to be close to your relatives, physically or socially. heheh. I never see mine and I like it just fine.

Have to find refuge at work? Things rough these days for you? It's already snowing in T? Whoa. We had a big rainstorm last week. It usually doesn't rain til Dec but not this year. Been pretty droughty out here the last few years. Can't wait for vacay. Hope I won't land in a blizzard, snowstorm or typhoon, yknow? haha.

Hello, how is your week? I've been going a bit shopping crazy lately, I'm going to stop though or I'll never be able to save up for a car :-( Problem is that I'm in love with winter clothes so it's hard to hold back when I see good deals. How are things at your store lately?

Oh yes, I saw that too. Sorry, I thought you meant the Gary and Justin on AnD so I got confused >_<
I read on Ming Pao yesterday that Gary apologized for what he did. He's coming to Vancouver to perform in October but I'm not going b/c it's going to cost an arm and leg. I'm waiting for JJ and Jay Chou to come though :D

I went shopping yesterday and bought some stuff from Sephora and a pair of high heel beige boots from H&M.  I'm loving them b/c I'm a huge boots person.  How about you?  Did you buy anything recently?

yes, we had beautiful weather on Friday. record breaking temperatures. too bad you didn't stay till Saturday. o.O but glad you got to stop by the beach before going back. =)

We're cooling down over here as well but they said it's going to be hot again next week. We'll see if that's true or not, sometimes can't trust the weather network :p
I tried on a pair of $19.99 Zara red skinny pants on Monday, can't say I look good in them at all :( I think they unflatter my thighs and make them appear huge. *sigh* Will have to keep looking. I liked the price though :p
